As a result of this Summit a plan of Action was elaborated to help ensure positive social development worldwide.  Since 2015, the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) give us a wide spectrum of areas to focus on and, with that, the awareness of those who are being left behind.  This year inequalities resounded … Read MoreThe Commission for Social Development  – 2019

Advent Joys

At Advent we remember the text from Isaiah 40. “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, says your God”. It goes on to say that “   Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain”.  While God promises this, we, humans, work to make it happen.
