Mitglieder von IBVM und CJ spielen eine aktive Rolle als Teil der Zivilgesellschaft, die mit den Vereinten Nationen (UN) in New York zusammenarbeitet. Als Mitarbeiter des Department of Global Communications (DGC) und mit Sonderkonsultativstatus f\u00fcr den Wirtschafts- und Sozialrat (ECOSOC) nehmen wir an den Briefings des DGC und des ECOSOC teil und nehmen an den j\u00e4hrlichen Konferenzen und Sitzungen teil. Wir f\u00fchren Workshops und Veranstaltungen w\u00e4hrend der j\u00e4hrlichen DGC- und ECOSOC-Konferenzen durch, bei denen wir Mitglieder, Kollegen und Personen mit Erfahrung und Fachwissen in bestimmten Bereichen der sozialen und nachhaltigen Entwicklung zusammenbringen. Ebenso tragen die Stimme und die Erfahrung von Menschen in Randsituationen zu unserer Arbeit f\u00fcr eine gerechte und nachhaltige Welt bei.<\/p>

Unsere Arbeit bei den Vereinten Nationen ist effektiver, wenn sie von den Erfahrungen der Menschen vor Ort gepr\u00e4gt ist. Die UN-Vertreter der IBVM\/CJ-Provinz<\/strong> fungieren als Ansprechpartner f\u00fcr ihre Provinzen und stellen wichtige Kommunikationsverbindungen zwischen den Repr\u00e4sentanten in New York und dem gesamten IBVM\/CJ-Netzwerk her.<\/p>

Zusammen mit dem IBVM\/CJ-Netzwerk zur Bek\u00e4mpfung des Menschenhandels<\/strong>, Lateinamerikanisches und karibisches Netzwerk (LAC)<\/strong> und Globales B\u00fcrgernetzwerk<\/strong>, informieren sie die Advocacy-Arbeit der NGO IBVM bei den Vereinten Nationen. Diese Netzwerke bestehen aus IBVM\/CJ-Mitgliedern und Kollegen, die: vor Ort arbeiten, um den Menschenhandel auszurotten, \u00dcberlebende dieses Verbrechens zu unterst\u00fctzen, in LAC zu leben und zu dienen und an unseren Schulen in \u00fcber 40 L\u00e4ndern zu unterrichten.<\/p>
