April 2023 im Hauptquartier der Vereinten Nationen in New York statt. Das vorrangige Thema f\u00fcr dieses Jahr lautet: \u201eIndigene V\u00f6lker, menschliche Gesundheit, planetarische und territoriale Gesundheit und Klimawandel: ein auf Rechten basierender Ansatz.\u201c \u201d<\/p><p>Nachdem indigene F\u00fchrer jahrzehntelang auf Inklusion und Vertretung bei den Vereinten Nationen gedr\u00e4ngt hatten, wurde am 28. Juli 2000 mit der Resolution 2000\/22 die UNPFII als hochrangiges Beratungsgremium des UN-Wirtschafts- und Sozialrats gegr\u00fcndet. Seit 2002 trifft sich die UNPFII j\u00e4hrlich. Das Forum kann von indigenen V\u00f6lkern genutzt werden, um das Bewusstsein zu sch\u00e4rfen, politische \u00c4nderungen in anderen UN-Gremien herbeizuf\u00fchren und Einfluss darauf zu nehmen, wie indigene Rechte auf lokaler und nationaler Ebene umgesetzt werden.<\/p><p>Das Forum gab folgende Empfehlungen und zuk\u00fcnftige Ma\u00dfnahmen:<\/p><p>\u2022 <strong>Internationale Dekade der indigenen Sprachen (2022\u20132032)<\/strong><br \/>Die Mitgliedstaaten f\u00fchren Ma\u00dfnahmen durch, um die Wiederbelebung, St\u00e4rkung und Entwicklung der Sprachen indigener V\u00f6lker zu unterst\u00fctzen. Einschlie\u00dflich angemessener Bereitstellung sowie angemessener Unterst\u00fctzung und Ressourcen, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf von Indigenen gef\u00fchrten Initiativen liegt, insbesondere unter Umst\u00e4nden, unter denen die Sprachen stark gef\u00e4hrdet sind. <br \/>\u2022 <strong>Indigene Frauen und M\u00e4dchen<\/strong><br \/>Beunruhigt \u00fcber die weit verbreiteten Berichte \u00fcber die Kriminalisierung und Ermordung indigener Frauen, die ihre Rechte und ihr Land und ihre Ressourcen verteidigten, empfahlen sie UN Women, bis 2025 eine Studie \u00fcber die Auswirkungen der Kolonisierung auf die Rechte indigener Frauen und M\u00e4dchen durchzuf\u00fchren und vorzulegen. Die Mitgliedstaaten wurden an ihre Verpflichtungen im Rahmen des \u00dcbereinkommens zur Beseitigung von Gewalt gegen Frauen (CEDAW) erinnert.<br \/>\u2022 <strong>Indigene Plattformen innerhalb der UN-Einheiten<\/strong><br \/>forderte die Mitgliedstaaten und Organisationen der Vereinten Nationen auf, \u201edie Umsetzung der freien, vorherigen und informierten Zustimmung bei allen Handlungen und Ma\u00dfnahmen sicherzustellen, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit Umwelt, Artenvielfalt, Klimawandel, Lebensmittelsystemen und nachhaltiger Entwicklung\u201c. Indigene Vertretungen in verschiedenen UN-Einheiten und -Foren.<\/p><p>Eine wichtige Empfehlung im Zusammenhang mit dem diesj\u00e4hrigen Thema lautet: \u201eMitgliedstaaten und Einrichtungen der Vereinten Nationen, insbesondere die Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO), erkennen an, dass indigene Ansichten \u00fcber die Gesundheit von Mensch und Planet im Mittelpunkt der Agenda 2030 f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung stehen m\u00fcssen, und betonen dies.\u201c Die Stabilisierung und Regeneration der Biosph\u00e4re ist f\u00fcr den Schutz der Menschheit von zentraler Bedeutung.<\/p><p>Indigene Gemeinschaften k\u00fcmmern sich seit Millionen von Jahren um unseren Planeten.
