Wenn die kanadische Regierung ihre Fortschritte bei den Zielen f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung bewertet, m\u00fcssen die politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4ger von den Menschen vor Ort h\u00f6ren.<\/em><\/h6>

Diese \u00dcberzeugung ging aus einem Treffen im Januar 2023 zwischen Mitarbeitern des Mary Ward Centre in Toronto und Kollegen aus den Diensten f\u00fcr soziale Gerechtigkeit der Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto und der Canadian Federation of the Sisters of St. Joseph hervor. Im Bewusstsein, dass die kanadische Regierung eine freiwillige nationale \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung (VNR) ihrer bisherigen Fortschritte bei der Erreichung der Ziele f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) vorbereitete, beschlossen wir, gemeinsam einen reaktionsf\u00e4higen Bericht der Zivilgesellschaft zu erstellen. Niemand wird zur\u00fcckgelassen? Eine intersektionale Analyse der Agenda 2030 in Kanada<\/em> hebt die Stimmen von Jugendlichen im Alter von 15 bis 19 Jahren und Wanderarbeitern in Kanada hervor und untersucht die Auswirkungen der COVID-19-Pandemie und der Wiederherstellungsbem\u00fchungen auf die SDG-Erreichung.<\/p>

Nach einem f\u00fcnfmonatigen Entwurfsprozess brachten wir unseren Bericht zum High-Level Political Forum (HLPF), um ihn mit Regierungsbeamten zu teilen. Zu unserer vom IBVM\/CJ UN-B\u00fcro gesponserten Delegation geh\u00f6rten Varka Kalaydzhieva (Schwestern von St. Joseph von Toronto), Srs. Sue Wilson und Joan Atkinson (Kanadische F\u00f6deration der Schwestern von St. Joseph), Jugendvertreterin, Brantella Williams, Vertreterin der Wanderarbeiter, Gabriel Allahdua und ich. Das UNNGO-B\u00fcro koordinierte ein Treffen mit der kanadischen St\u00e4ndigen Vertretung, damit wir die Ergebnisse unseres Berichts austauschen und die n\u00e4chsten Schritte f\u00fcr unsere Empfehlungen besprechen konnten. Wir nahmen auch an einem Empfang der kanadischen Mission am Vorabend der kanadischen VNR-Pr\u00e4sentation teil und trafen den Vertreter der St\u00e4ndigen Vertretung Kanadas, Botschafter Bob Rae, sowie andere Mitglieder der offiziellen Delegation.<\/p>

W\u00e4hrend Kanadas VNR-Pr\u00e4sentation letztendlich entt\u00e4uschend war, da der Schwerpunkt auf ausgew\u00e4hlten Erfolgen lag und wesentliche Inhalte zu verbleibenden L\u00fccken weggelassen wurden, werden die durch diesen Prozess entwickelten Beziehungen sowohl zu Regierungsbeamten als auch zu Organisationen der Zivilgesellschaft hoffentlich in Zukunft zu besseren Ergebnissen f\u00fchren. Zur\u00fcck in Kanada hat sich unsere Kooperationsgruppe bereits mit Bundesbeamten getroffen, die f\u00fcr die SDG-Koordinierung verantwortlich sind, und wir haben Pl\u00e4ne, die Interessenvertretung fortzusetzen und das Engagement zwischen Zivilgesellschaft, Regierung und anderen Partnern zu verbessern.<\/p>

Meine kanadischen Interessenvertretungsbem\u00fchungen wurden durch die Zusammenarbeit unserer CJ\/IBVM-Delegation bereichert. W\u00e4hrend ich mich an die kanadische Regierung wandte, wandten sich Fionnuala Lynch IBVM und Giovanna Muha CJ an Irland bzw. Rum\u00e4nien. Wir gaben Tipps f\u00fcr Treffen mit Beamten und lernten aus unseren jeweiligen VNR-Pr\u00e4sentationen, wobei Rum\u00e4nien und Irland bei der Einbindung von Kindern und Jugendlichen in ihren Berichten eine Vorreiterrolle spielten.<\/p>

Meine allgemeine Erfahrung beim HLPF bestand darin, Teil eines Teams zu sein, das mit Freude zusammenarbeitete, um Regierungen f\u00fcr ihre SDG-Verpflichtungen zur Rechenschaft zu ziehen, und zwar auf der Grundlage unseres gemeinsamen Mary-Ward-Charismas. Die Zusammenarbeit im HLPF hat unsere Entschlossenheit gefestigt, weiterhin Erkenntnisse aus der Bef\u00fcrwortung der SDGs mit unseren CJ\/IBVM-UN-Kollegen zu teilen und einen Unterausschuss zu bilden, der die Bem\u00fchungen um die SDGs vorantreiben wird, um sicherzustellen, dass wir auf unserem Weg dorthin wirklich niemanden zur\u00fccklassen 2030.<\/p>
