Der zweite SDG-Gipfel fand am 18. und 19. September 2023 w\u00e4hrend der hochrangigen Woche der UN-Generalversammlung in New York statt. Der Gipfel markierte die Halbzeit der Umsetzung der Agenda 2030 f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung.<\/p>

Der SDG-Gipfel ist die zentrale UN-Plattform f\u00fcr Staats- und Regierungschefs, um politische F\u00fchrung bei der Umsetzung der Agenda 2030 f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung und ihrer Ziele f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung zu \u00fcbernehmen. Es bietet hochrangige politische Leitlinien zur Agenda 2030 und ihrer Umsetzung, ermittelt Fortschritte und neue Herausforderungen und mobilisiert weitere Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Beschleunigung der Umsetzung. Der Gipfel ist das Herzst\u00fcck der Arbeit der UN im Jahr 2023 und der hochrangigen Woche der Generalversammlung im September.<\/p>

Durch den Gipfel haben die L\u00e4nder sowohl einzeln als auch gemeinsam die M\u00f6glichkeit, die Welt auf den Weg einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung zu bringen. Die internationale Gemeinschaft kann diese Gelegenheit nutzen, um bedeutende Ver\u00e4nderungen f\u00fcr die integrierte SDG-Umsetzung und die Art und Weise vorzunehmen, wie Gesellschaften Vorteile und Risiken produzieren, konsumieren und teilen, ohne dabei jemanden zur\u00fcckzulassen. Der Gipfel soll zukunftsorientiert und handlungsorientiert sein, mit dem Ziel, internationale Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Verbesserung des Lebens der Menschen zu beschleunigen und das Gef\u00fchl der Hoffnung, des Optimismus und der Begeisterung wiederzubeleben, das die Annahme der SDGs und der Agenda 2030 kennzeichnete.<\/p>

Der Generalsekret\u00e4r forderte die Staats- und Regierungschefs der Welt auf, auf dem SDG-Gipfel einen Rettungsplan f\u00fcr Mensch und Planet vorzulegen, der Ergebnisse in drei Bereichen umfassen soll. Erstens forderte er die L\u00e4nder auf, globale Verpflichtungen im Hinblick auf die SDGs einzuhalten, unter anderem durch einen SDG-Anreiz durch eine massive Aufstockung der Finanzierung und anderer Ma\u00dfnahmen, wie etwa eines Schuldenerlasses. Zweitens forderte er die Staats- und Regierungschefs der Welt auf, eine nationale Verpflichtung zur SDG-Transformation zu vermitteln. Dazu k\u00f6nnten klare Benchmarks zur Reduzierung der heimischen Armut und Ungleichheit bis 2027 und 2030 sowie national festgelegte Klimabeitr\u00e4ge geh\u00f6ren. Und drittens werden alle L\u00e4nder aufgefordert, ihre heimischen Interessengruppen, insbesondere die Zivilgesellschaft und den Privatsektor, umfassend in die Vorbereitungen f\u00fcr den Gipfel einzubeziehen.<\/p>

Generalsekret\u00e4r Antonio Guterres forderte die Mitgliedstaaten in seinen Bemerkungen zum Abschluss des SDG-Gipfels auf: \u201eJetzt ist es an der Zeit, in Ihre L\u00e4nder zur\u00fcckzukehren und sich an die Richtlinien, Budgets und Investitionen zu machen, die zur Erreichung der SDGs erforderlich sind.\u201c Jetzt ist vor allem die Zeit der F\u00fchrung gekommen. Lasst uns jetzt Ma\u00dfnahmen ergreifen f\u00fcr eine bessere, ges\u00fcndere, friedlichere, nachhaltigere und wohlhabendere Welt.\u201c<\/p>
