Das Institut der Heiligen Jungfrau Maria (IBVM Loreto) hat im Jahr 2023 eine Nichtregierungsorganisation (NGO) gegr\u00fcndet, die mit den Vereinten Nationen zusammenarbeiten soll, um ihre globale Pr\u00e4senz und ihren Einfluss auf die Probleme der Gemeinschaften, mit denen wir weltweit leben und arbeiten, zu st\u00e4rken. Das IBVM UNNGO-B\u00fcro vertritt die Interessen des globalen IBVM\/CJ-Netzwerks, einschlie\u00dflich seiner Mitglieder auf sechs Kontinenten, Mitarbeiter, aktuelle Sch\u00fcler, Lehrer, Eltern, Gemeinden und die mehr als 2 Millionen Alumni von IBVM\/CJ-Schulen.<\/p>

Mit unserem Status als NGO mit Sonderberaterstatus beim Wirtschafts- und Sozialrat (ECOSOC) sind wir in der Lage, bei Sitzungen, Foren, Konsultationen und Konferenzen anwesend zu sein. Wir sind auch in der Lage, schriftliche und m\u00fcndliche Stellungnahmen einzureichen, die die Erfahrungen unseres globalen Netzwerks vor Ort widerspiegeln. Wir haben auch einige unserer Mitglieder eingeladen, bei Veranstaltungen, die wir in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Mitgliedstaaten, UN-Abteilungen und NGOs veranstaltet haben, als F\u00fcrsprecher und Redner aufzutreten.<\/p>

Wir haben auch junge Leute als Freiwillige und Praktikanten in unserem B\u00fcro in New York aufgenommen. Sie haben sich gest\u00e4rkt und sind zu Akteuren des Wandels geworden, nicht nur f\u00fcr ihre Anliegen, sondern auch f\u00fcr die vielen jungen Menschen, die nicht am UN-Tisch anwesend sein k\u00f6nnen. Wir hoffen, dass wir weiterhin mit unserem globalen Netzwerk zusammenarbeiten, um uns f\u00fcr systemische Ver\u00e4nderungen auf globaler, regionaler, nationaler und lokaler Ebene einzusetzen.<\/p>

Die Zivilgesellschaft, insbesondere religi\u00f6se NGOs, setzt sich seit ihrer Gr\u00fcndung f\u00fcr die Vereinten Nationen ein und arbeitet mit ihnen zusammen. Die Bedeutung des Beitrags der Zivilgesellschaft wird durch ihre Aufnahme in Artikel 71 der UN-Charta anerkannt, der die Bestimmung vorsieht, NGOs zu \u201eAngelegenheiten, die in ihre Zust\u00e4ndigkeit fallen\u201c, zu konsultieren.<\/p>

Unsere Hauptrednerin, Azza Karam, wird uns mitteilen, warum es wichtig ist, dass sich glaubensbasierte NGOs weiterhin bei den Vereinten Nationen engagieren und sich f\u00fcr systemische Ver\u00e4nderungen der bestehenden globalen politischen, sozialen und wirtschaftlichen Systeme einsetzen. Sie wird auch ihre Erfahrungen aus der engen Zusammenarbeit mit den Vereinten Nationen und ihrer Interessenvertretung bei den Vereinten Nationen sowie den Verhandlungen mit Mitgliedstaaten und der Zivilgesellschaft teilen. Als fr\u00fchere Generalsekret\u00e4rin von Religions for Peace und in verschiedenen Funktionen bei den Vereinten Nationen kann sie ihre Erkenntnisse \u00fcber die Bedeutung der Zusammenarbeit zwischen glaubensbasierten Organisationen und die entscheidende Rolle, die sie bei den Vereinten Nationen spielen, weitergeben.<\/p>

Unsere ersten Diskussionsteilnehmer – Pat Murray ibvm, Evanne Hunter ibvm, Anne Kelly ibvm und Cecilia O’Dwyer ibvm werden ihre Gedanken und Erfahrungen bei der Arbeit als IBVM\/CJ UNNGO-Vertreter bei den Vereinten Nationen und ihre \u00dcberlegungen zu dieser Erfahrung teilen. Der Hauptredner und die Diskussionsteilnehmer werden ein Gespr\u00e4ch \u00fcber die Rolle glaubensbasierter Organisationen f\u00fchren und auf Fragen des Publikums antworten.<\/p>

Unser zweiter Diskussionsteilnehmer – Prisca Vadakepoondikulam CJ und Deepti Beena CJ <\/span>werden ihre Erfahrungen aus der Zusammenarbeit mit dem IBVM\/CJ UN-B\u00fcro und der virtuellen Teilnahme an UN-Prozessen und -Veranstaltungen teilen.
