Jedes Jahr am 11. Oktober feiern wir den Internationalen Tag des M\u00e4dchens (IDG). Seit 10 Jahren sind wir Teil der Arbeitsgruppe M\u00e4dchen’ IDG Girls SpeakOut. Unser Schulnetzwerk beteiligte sich durch die Einsendung von Videos, Gedichten und Kunstwerken, und drei unserer Sch\u00fcler fungierten in den Jahren 2022, 2021 und 2022 als Moderatoren. Dies ist einer der H\u00f6hepunkte unserer Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Jugendnetzwerk.<\/p>

Der Girls SpeakOut fand am 10. Oktober in der ECOSOC-Kammer mit \u00fcber 400 Teilnehmern pers\u00f6nlich und online statt. Es begann damit, dass Olivia daran erinnerte, dass wir dort waren, weil wir mit M\u00e4dchen zusammen sind! WIR SIND F\u00dcR M\u00c4DCHEN! Mit diesem Aufruf wurden die \u00fcber 200 M\u00e4dchenf\u00fchrerinnen und -anw\u00e4ltinnen ermutigt, sich f\u00fcr die Rechte von M\u00e4dchen einzusetzen.<\/p>

In diesem Jahr lautet das IDG-Thema \u201eIn die Rechte von M\u00e4dchen investieren: Unsere F\u00fchrung und unser Wohlbefinden\u201c, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf Ma\u00dfnahmen f\u00fcr die Rechte von M\u00e4dchen liegt. Aktivistinnen stellten Erkl\u00e4rungen und Fragen an Mitglieder der UN-Gemeinschaft, darunter Botschafter Robert Rae (St\u00e4ndiger Vertreter der Mission Kanadas bei den Vereinten Nationen) und Dr Generationengleichheit und die Ziele f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung.<\/p>

Gemeinsam mit der Society of the Sacred Heart (RSCJ) und VIVAT International haben wir auch Tag 8 der 11 Aktionstage gesponsert, in denen mehr Investitionen in hochwertige Bildung f\u00fcr M\u00e4dchen gefordert werden.
