Dezember veranstalteten wir zusammen mit einigen Mitgliedern unseres Anti-Human Trafficking Network ein Webinar zum Thema Migration angesichts zunehmender krimineller Aktivit\u00e4ten im Bereich Menschenhandel, Menschenschmuggel und Arbeitsausbeutung. Das Anti-Human Trafficking Network war eine Selbsthilfegruppe f\u00fcr Mitglieder von IBVM Loreto und der Congregation of Jesus, die Opfer und \u00dcberlebende von Menschenhandel in ihren L\u00e4ndern unterst\u00fctzen und sch\u00fctzen und sich regelm\u00e4\u00dfig treffen, um Informationen, bew\u00e4hrte Praktiken und Herausforderungen auszutauschen und M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr gemeinsame Interessenvertretung zu finden.<\/p><p>Das Webinar wurde abgehalten, um den Dialog \u00fcber die globalen Bem\u00fchungen von IBVM und CJ zur Unterst\u00fctzung und zum Schutz von Fl\u00fcchtlingen, Migranten und Opfern von Menschenhandel zu f\u00f6rdern. Die Redner berichteten \u00fcber positive Ma\u00dfnahmen und Strategien, die sie derzeit umsetzen, um gef\u00e4hrdete Personen, insbesondere Migranten und Fl\u00fcchtlinge, davor zu sch\u00fctzen, Opfer von Menschenh\u00e4ndlern und Schmugglern zu werden. Gegen Ende identifizierten die Teilnehmer Bereiche, in denen weitere Verst\u00e4rkung und Ma\u00dfnahmen erforderlich sind, um Ausbeutung zu verhindern und einen st\u00e4rkeren Schutz f\u00fcr gef\u00e4hrdete Personen zu gew\u00e4hrleisten.<\/p><p>Die erste Rednerin war Liliana Sorrentino, eine Rechtsreferentin beim UNHCR (UN-Fl\u00fcchtlingshilfswerk). Sie sprach \u00fcber die Perspektive des Fl\u00fcchtlingsschutzes und diskutierte, wie Vertreibung das Risiko von Menschenhandel und anderen schweren Misshandlungen w\u00e4hrend des Schmuggels versch\u00e4rft. Liliana pr\u00e4sentierte auch aktuelle Statistiken, denen zufolge 122 Millionen Menschen gewaltsam vertrieben wurden, von denen 44 Millionen Fl\u00fcchtlinge sind. Die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Sorge war, dass sich die Zahl der Kinder in den letzten f\u00fcnf Jahren verdoppelt hat und dass 401 Millionen der Vertriebenen Kinder sind. <\/p><p>Kinder, Frauen und M\u00e4dchen, Menschen mit Behinderung, indigene V\u00f6lker und Menschen mit unterschiedlichem Geschlecht sind einem h\u00f6heren Risiko ausgesetzt, Opfer von Menschenhandel oder Ausbeutung zu werden. Liliana betonte auch, dass Menschen, die gewaltsam vertrieben werden, umso st\u00e4rker Opfer von Schmugglern und Menschenh\u00e4ndlern werden, je restriktiver die Grenz\u00fcberg\u00e4nge anderer L\u00e4nder sind. Das ist etwas, wor\u00fcber wir nachdenken m\u00fcssen, wenn der Grenzschutz zu einem politischen Thema wird, insbesondere in den L\u00e4ndern des globalen Nordens.<\/p><p>Referenten aus dem IBVM\/CJ-Netzwerk waren:<\/p><ul><li>Jackline Wongela IBVM sprach \u00fcber die Situation von Migranten und Fl\u00fcchtlingen in Ostafrika und die Programme, die sie in Kangemi durchf\u00fchrten.<\/li><li>Nabanita Shome vom Kolkata Mary Ward Social Service und Ancy Thomas CJ aus der Provinz Patna gaben einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber die Situation der Migranten in Indien und die Herausforderungen, denen sich die Bev\u00f6lkerung und die Regierungen im Umgang mit dem Problem des Menschenhandels und der Zwangsarbeit gegen\u00fcbersehen. Sie betonten, wie wichtig es sei, die Bev\u00f6lkerung \u00fcber die Gefahren und ihre Rechte aufzukl\u00e4ren.<\/li><li>Sr. Imelda Poole IBVM und Sr. Judith Knabb CJ berichteten \u00fcber die Situation im Vereinigten K\u00f6nigreich, in Ungarn und Albanien. Sie berichteten, dass es Menschen gibt, die jetzt auch aus China, den Philippinen und Kamerun Opfer von Menschenhandel werden. Imelda betonte, dass Albanien, das fr\u00fcher ein Herkunftsland war, f\u00fcr diese Menschen zum Zielland geworden ist. Sowohl Judith als auch Imelda sprachen \u00fcber die Programme, die sie zur Unterst\u00fctzung und zum Schutz der \u00dcberlebenden haben. <\/li><li>Eva Rodrigues Diaz vom Mary Ward Centre Toronto sprach \u00fcber das Radioprogramm \u201eEnd Human Trafficking: A Commitment for All\u201c, eine popul\u00e4re Aufkl\u00e4rungsstrategie zur Pr\u00e4vention des Menschenhandels in Kanada und Lateinamerika. Das Programm befasst sich auch mit dem Thema Fehl- und Desinformation und informiert Menschen, die m\u00f6glicherweise eine Reise von Lateinamerika \u00fcber den Dari\u00e9n Gap nach Nordamerika in Erw\u00e4gung ziehen.<\/li><li>Marta Santos, die derzeit auch die UN-Provinzvertreterin f\u00fcr Spanien ist, vertritt uns in der Allianz der NGOs f\u00fcr Kriminalpr\u00e4vention und Strafjustiz. Marta berichtete \u00fcber ihre Erfahrungen bei der Teilnahme am konstruktiven Dialog \u00fcber Menschenhandel, der vom B\u00fcro der Vereinten Nationen f\u00fcr Drogen- und Verbrechensbek\u00e4mpfung organisiert wurde. Sie gab Informationen \u00fcber den \u00dcberpr\u00fcfungsprozess des Palermo-Protokolls sowie \u00fcber die Leitf\u00e4den und Online-Ressourcen, die NGOs zur Teilnahme an der \u00dcberpr\u00fcfung nutzen k\u00f6nnen.<\/li><\/ul><p>Gegen Ende des Webinars beantwortete das Rednerpanel Fragen der Teilnehmer.
