Am Freitag, den 23. Juni 2017 nahmen zwei Vertreter der NGO IBVM der Vereinten Nationen an einer informellen interaktiven Anh\u00f6rung von Interessenvertretern in New York teil, bei der Redner und Teilnehmer im Raum einen Dialog \u00fcber die praktischen Schritte f\u00fchrten, die zur Bek\u00e4mpfung der Thema Menschenhandel.<\/p>

Es war sowohl eine bewegende als auch informative Anh\u00f6rung, bei der eine breite Palette von Stimmen geh\u00f6rt und gefeiert wurde, um sicherzustellen, dass die Formulierung des Aktionsplans die enorme Natur dieses internationalen Themas widerspiegelt.<\/p>

Menschenhandel ist eine schwere Menschenrechtsverletzung und ein gro\u00dfes Hindernis f\u00fcr eine nachhaltige Entwicklung. Aus diesem Grund steht die Agenda 2030 f\u00fcr nachhaltige Entwicklung im Mittelpunkt dieser Diskussion. Die Zielvorgaben 5.2, 8.7 und 16.2 ber\u00fchren speziell die Ungleichheit der Geschlechter und die soziale Unsicherheit, die angegangen werden m\u00fcssen, wenn wir uns in Richtung Pr\u00e4vention bewegen wollen.<\/p>

In einer augen\u00f6ffnenden Ansprache von Withelma \u201eT\u201c Oritz Walker Pettigrew, einem Opfer von Sexhandel, wurde offen dar\u00fcber gesprochen, wie wichtig es ist, diejenigen, die ein solches Trauma erlitten haben, Teil des Systems zu sein, das anderen \u00dcberlebenden in der Genesungsphase hilft. Dar\u00fcber hinaus hat sie die Notwendigkeit einer Fokussierung deutlich gemacht. Ab sofort a \u00dcBERLEBENDERZENTRIERTER ANSATZ<\/strong> ist essentiell. Der Einsatz von Ressourcen zur Aufkl\u00e4rung, St\u00e4rkung und Ergreifung rechtlicher Schritte f\u00fcr Opfer von Menschenhandel ist eine weitaus langfristigere L\u00f6sung und sollte universell eingesetzt werden, um solche Gr\u00e4ueltaten von vornherein zu verhindern.<\/p>

Ein wichtiges Zitat der Konferenz stammt von Kay Buck, Exekutivdirektorin der Coalition Against Slavery and Trafficking (CAST), in der sie sagte: \u201eDiese Generation von \u00dcberlebenden wird unsere letzte sein\u201c. CAST setzt sich f\u00fcr bahnbrechende Richtlinien und Gesetze ein, die der unfairen Fehlidentifizierung von Opfern als Kriminelle entgegenwirken. CAST verfolgt einen ganzheitlichen Ansatz, um Tausende von \u00dcberlebenden zu unterst\u00fctzen und bietet Beratung, rechtliche Ressourcen, Unterkunft, Bildung, F\u00fchrungstraining und Mentoring.<\/p>

Es wurde unz\u00e4hlige Male wiederholt, dass das abscheuliche Verbrechen des Menschenhandels auf zahlreiche soziale Faktoren und bereits bestehende Schwachstellen zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren ist, die angegangen werden m\u00fcssen. Dazu geh\u00f6ren die Ungleichheit der Geschlechter, mangelnde Bildung und Armut.<\/p>

Die L\u00f6sungen f\u00fcr diese Probleme sind umfassend und vielf\u00e4ltig, wobei die Ziele der SDGs viel dazu beitragen, die praktischen Schritte zu skizzieren, die ergriffen werden m\u00fcssen. Weitere in der Anh\u00f6rung angesprochene Strategien sind:<\/p>

  • Weltweiter Lehrplan in jeder Schule \u00fcber die Risiken der Menschenhandelsindustrie<\/li>
  • \u00c4nderung der Gesetzgebung hin zu einem auf \u00dcberlebende ausgerichteten Ansatz \u2013 Beendigung der Bestrafung von Opfern<\/li>
  • Die Nachfrage nach billigen Arbeitskr\u00e4ften und kommerzialisiertem Sex angehen \u2013 die heutige Lieferkette von Unternehmen treibt diese Nachfrage an<\/li>
  • Weisen Sie BEDEUTENDE Ressourcen zu, nicht nur die Mindestfinanzierung<\/li>
  • Multidisziplin\u00e4rer Ansatz bei der Verfolgung von Menschenh\u00e4ndlern und der Umschulung der Strafverfolgungsbeh\u00f6rden.<\/li>
  • Machen Sie der breiten \u00d6ffentlichkeit klar, dass ihre Spenden f\u00fcr diese Sache ein \u201elebensrettender Mechanismus\u201c sind.<\/li>
  • St\u00e4rken Sie Opfer durch Therapie und rechtliche Schritte<\/li>
  • Planen Sie einen \u00dcberpr\u00fcfungsmechanismus f\u00fcr den globalen Plan, um den Fortschritt zu bewerten<\/li>
  • Haben Sie Krisenmanagementpl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr potenzielle Naturkatastrophen, da diese Art von Ereignissen aufgrund der Verzweiflung, die sie verursacht, direkt mit der Zunahme von Menschenhandel verbunden sind. Nach einer Naturkatastrophe f\u00fchrt die \u00dcberforderung der Situation dazu, dass Strafverfolgungsbeh\u00f6rden und Beh\u00f6rdenvertreter diejenigen vernachl\u00e4ssigen, die von Menschenhandel bedroht sind.
