Frauen, Kinder und Migranten sind besonders anf\u00e4llig f\u00fcr Rekrutierung und Ausbeutung.<\/span><\/p><p>Das vorrangige Thema der 60. Sitzung der Kommission f\u00fcr soziale Entwicklung zielt darauf ab, die Situation durch eine integrativere und widerstandsf\u00e4higere Erholung von COVID-19 und die Beseitigung von Armut und Hunger anzugehen.<\/p><p>Wir haben eine Nebenveranstaltung zum Thema \u201eArmut, Hunger und Menschenhandel\u201c organisiert. Interventionen und bew\u00e4hrte Praktiken von glaubensbasierten Organisationen.&#8221; Unsere Redner teilten ihr Fachwissen und die Arbeit ihrer Organisation zur Beendigung von Zwangsarbeit, moderner Sklaverei und Menschenhandel. Zu uns gesellten sich \u00fcber 79 Mitglieder unseres Netzwerks und NGO-Kollegen.<\/p><p>Prof. Michel Veuthey, Botschafter des Souver\u00e4nen Malteserordens zur \u00dcberwachung und Bek\u00e4mpfung des Menschenhandels in Genf, sprach \u00fcber die Rolle des Staates und die wichtige Arbeit und Zusammenarbeit des Staates mit der Zivilgesellschaft, insbesondere mit religi\u00f6sen Organisationen.<\/p><p>Sr. Imelda Poole IBVM, Pr\u00e4sidentin von RENATE, berichtete \u00fcber die Arbeit dieses europ\u00e4ischen Netzwerks von Ordensleuten, die sich f\u00fcr die gemeinsame Bek\u00e4mpfung von Menschenhandel und Ausbeutung einsetzen. Sie sprach \u00fcber ihre Arbeit in der Bildung und Interessenvertretung nicht nur unter ihren Mitgliedern, sondern auch innerhalb ihrer Gemeinschaften.<\/p><p>Nabanita Shome, Koordinatorin des Rotlichtprojekts Sonagachi-Kolkata, Indien, sprach \u00fcber die Arbeit des Kolkata Mary Ward Social Center bei der Aufkl\u00e4rung junger Menschen und ihrer lokalen Gemeinschaft in der Pr\u00e4vention von Menschenhandel, insbesondere unter jungen Menschen.
