In Zusammenarbeit mit VIVAT International, Tarumitra und dem Global NGO Executive Committee (GNEC) veranstalteten wir eine Parallelveranstaltung auf der 66. Sitzung der Kommission f\u00fcr den Status der Frau (CSW66). Wir haben von Frauen und M\u00e4dchen geh\u00f6rt und gelernt, die in ihren Gemeinden, Institutionen und lokalen NGOs eine F\u00fchrungsrolle \u00fcbernehmen.<\/p>

Frauen und M\u00e4dchen sind oft die ersten Opfer, wenn es zu Katastrophen im Zusammenhang mit dem Klimawandel kommt. Sie tragen den Gro\u00dfteil der Genesungsarbeit sowie die von der Gesellschaft auferlegte extreme Belastung durch Hausarbeit. Es ist von entscheidender Bedeutung, dass Frauen und M\u00e4dchen, die fast die H\u00e4lfte der Weltbev\u00f6lkerung ausmachen, in die Weltwirtschaft und Entscheidungsprozesse einbezogen werden. Sie sind die H\u00fcter unseres Gemeinsamen Hauses und ihre Arbeit bedarf der Anerkennung.<\/p>

Devopriya Dutta, Jugendkoordinatorin und Praneta Rani-Jugendmitglied aus Tarumitra, sprach \u00fcber ihre Erfahrungen, ihre Arbeit und ihre Leidenschaft f\u00fcr den Umweltschutz. Studentische Mitglieder von Tarumitra lernen die \u00f6kologischen Probleme kennen und setzen sich f\u00fcr den Schutz der Umwelt ein.<\/p>

Frau Kana Mondal teilte ihre Erfahrungen und die der Sundarban-Gemeinde nach den Wirbelst\u00fcrmen Amphan und Yaas. Sie sprach davon, N\u00e4hen zu lernen und ihr eigenes Unternehmen zu gr\u00fcnden. Sie unterrichtete andere Frauen in der Gemeinde, damit auch diese ein Einkommen erzielen k\u00f6nnen. Nach den Katastrophen ermutigte sie die Frauen, trotz der Zerst\u00f6rung ihrer H\u00e4user und Lebensgrundlagen neu anzufangen.<\/p>

Sr. Anns James stellte uns die Moringa-Pflanze Sambias vor, auch bekannt als \u201eWunderbaum\u201c. Die Comboni-Schwestern’ Das Mother Earth-Projekt schulte die B\u00e4uerinnen in nachhaltiger biologischer Landwirtschaft (SOA). Durch den nachhaltigen und biologischen Anbau von Moringa bewahren sie eine Lebensweise und die Nachhaltigkeit ihres Ackerlandes und ihrer Lebensgrundlage. Diese B\u00e4uerinnen sind ‘Klimameisterinnen’ in ihrem eigenen Recht.<\/p>

Zu uns gesellten sich auch Dr. Farrah Moazeni, Assistenzprofessorin f\u00fcr Umweltingenieurwesen, und Dr. Hilda Koster, \u00f6kologische feministische Theologin. Wir haben etwas \u00fcber ihre Reise in ihrem Fachgebiet und ihre Arbeit zum Schutz der Umwelt erfahren.<\/p>
