Am 14. Juni organisierte die Jugendvertreterin des IBVM in Spanien (Carlota Gayo) eine kleine virtuelle Veranstaltung mit einer Gruppe von Alumni der Schulen in Madrid, Bilbao und Sevilla. Ziel dieser Initiative war es, einen Raum f\u00fcr junge Menschen zu schaffen, in dem sie sich zu internationalen Themen im Zusammenhang mit den Vereinten Nationen (UN) \u00e4u\u00dfern k\u00f6nnen, und zu versuchen, Teilnehmer f\u00fcr die Teilnahme an bevorstehenden Aktivit\u00e4ten\/Veranstaltungen zu gewinnen.<\/p>

Die Organisation dieses Dialogs zwischen Alumni und dem Jugendbeauftragten war in verschiedene Abschnitte gegliedert.<\/p>

Die Veranstaltung begann mit einer kurzen Vorstellung der Teilnehmer und einem gro\u00dfen Dankesch\u00f6n f\u00fcr die Teilnahme an der im Mai gestarteten Umfrage, bei der potenzielle Teilnehmer nach ihrem Wissen und ihren Interessen in Bezug auf die SDGs der Vereinten Nationen gefragt wurden. Anschlie\u00dfend erl\u00e4uterte Cecilia O'Dwyer die Mission des IBVM\/CJ bei den Vereinten Nationen als NGO. Das B\u00fcro spielt eine bedeutende Rolle innerhalb der Zivilgesellschaftsgruppe des Wirtschafts- und Sozialrats (ECOSOC) und der Abteilung f\u00fcr globale Kommunikation.<\/p>

Anschlie\u00dfend haben wir folgende SDGS besprochen:<\/p>

  • Soziales: Frieden, Gerechtigkeit und starke Institutionen (SDG 16)<\/strong>
    Die Situation in der Ukraine war eines der Hauptthemen, die im Hinblick auf den globalen Frieden und die Stabilit\u00e4t angesprochen wurden. Die beiden Seiten der Medaille, Multilateralismus und Unilateralismus, stehen heute im Streit, da Russland Gewalt gegen das angegriffene ukrainische Territorium aus\u00fcbt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus waren die teilnehmenden Jugendlichen besorgt \u00fcber Kriegsverbrechen durch russische Truppen. Bei diesem Szenario ist es \u00e4u\u00dferst schwierig, eine friedliche L\u00f6sung zu finden. Es ist jedoch von entscheidender Bedeutung, pr\u00e4ventive Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Vermeidung von Gewalt und Krieg festzulegen.<\/li>
  • Wirtschaft: Menschenw\u00fcrdige Arbeit und Wirtschaftswachstum (SDG 8)<\/strong>
    Trotz der Auswirkungen von Covid-19 auf die Wirtschaft betonten die Teilnehmer die Rolle, die die Digitalisierung in den kommenden Jahren spielen wird, da die Technologie entweder neue Arbeitspl\u00e4tze schaffen oder einige bereits bestehende vernichten wird. Daher waren sich alle einig, dass die Anpassung an sich schnell ver\u00e4ndernde Maschinen und technologische Fortschritte ein Muss ist. Dar\u00fcber hinaus betonten sie die Bedeutung der Arbeit von Frauen und den Kampf f\u00fcr gleiche Besch\u00e4ftigungschancen ohne jegliche Kluft zwischen den Geschlechtern (auch im Einklang mit SDG 5: Gleichstellung der Geschlechter).<\/li>
  • Umwelt: Sauberes Wasser und Sanit\u00e4ranlagen (SDG 6), erschwingliche und saubere Energie<\/strong>
    (SDG 7) und Nachhaltige St\u00e4dte und Gemeinden (SDG 11)<\/strong>
    Der Zugang zu Grundwasser ist ein Grundrecht, das jeder Mensch genie\u00dfen muss. Dennoch waren sich die Teilnehmer einig, dass dies in vielen L\u00e4ndern nicht der Fall ist. Eines der M\u00e4dchen teilte ihre Erfahrungen mit, als sie vor drei Jahren w\u00e4hrend ihrer Freiwilligenarbeit zum Aufbau von Wasseraufbereitungsanlagen in Indien beitrug. Folglich m\u00fcssen die entwickelten L\u00e4nder (der globale Norden) denjenigen, die dringend Hilfe ben\u00f6tigen (der globale S\u00fcden), helfen, Zugang zu nicht verschmutztem Wasser zu erhalten. Dabei sollte gute Regierungsf\u00fchrung ein Leitprinzip f\u00fcr die Kommunalverwaltungen sein. Beim Blick auf die letzten SDGs (Nr. 7 und Nr. 11) waren sie sich alle einig \u00fcber die Notwendigkeit, sich an neue Quellen erneuerbarer Energien anzupassen und diese in Ballungsr\u00e4umen und urbanisierten Gebieten in St\u00e4dten anzuwenden. Die Erzeugung sauberer Energie und der Verzicht auf fossile Brennstoffe sollten Priorit\u00e4t haben.<\/li><\/ul>

    Jeder Teilnehmer konnte sich bequem und ehrlich ausdr\u00fccken, w\u00e4hrend er einander zuh\u00f6rte’ Ansichten. Aber die Zeit lief sehr schnell davon und wir verabschiedeten uns und dankten einander f\u00fcr die sch\u00f6ne Zeit, die wir hatten!<\/p>
