Es war das erste Mal seit der Pandemie, dass die Gruppe mit Sitz in Genf nach New York zur\u00fcckkehrte. Bezeichnend f\u00fcr das mangelnde Interesse war, dass wir nur zu sechst dort waren, vier davon waren Mitglieder unseres Netzwerks Working Group on Girls (WGG).<\/p><p>Sie wollten sich mit CSOs treffen, um mit CSOs in Kontakt zu treten und uns \u00fcber die Arbeit der Gruppe zu informieren. Die derzeitige Vorsitzende, Melissa Upreti, betonte die Bedeutung ihrer Zusammenarbeit mit zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisationen. Eingaben und Informationen von Organisationen wie der unseren sind von entscheidender Bedeutung, um Menschenrechtsverletzungen vor Ort aufzudecken und entsprechende Ma\u00dfnahmen zu ergreifen. Es ist auch wichtig, dass wir die Informationen in unserer Interessenvertretung nutzen und gleichzeitig die verschiedenen von ihnen ver\u00f6ffentlichten Menschenrechtsberichte bewerben.<\/p><p>Das Treffen war auch eine Gelegenheit, mitzuteilen, dass ihr aktueller Jahresbericht zum Thema &#8220;Aktivismus von M\u00e4dchen und jungen Frauen&#8221; sollte im Juni erscheinen. Sie teilten einige ihrer wichtigsten Erkenntnisse mit, darunter, dass die meisten M\u00e4dchen&#8217; Der Aktivismus begann als Reaktion auf ein unmittelbares Bed\u00fcrfnis in ihrem Leben. Aufgrund altersbedingter gesellschaftlicher Missverst\u00e4ndnisse \u00fcber ihr Recht auf Teilhabe am politischen und \u00f6ffentlichen Leben, einschlie\u00dflich der Entscheidungsfindung, stehen sie jedoch vor besonderen Herausforderungen.<\/p><p>Der Bericht betonte die Beitr\u00e4ge von M\u00e4dchen&#8217; und der Aktivismus junger Frauen zur F\u00f6rderung der Gleichstellung der Geschlechter und der F\u00f6rderung der Menschenrechte und ihres tiefgreifenden transformativen Potenzials.&#8221; Sie ber\u00fccksichtigen auch die strukturellen Hindernisse, mit denen sie konfrontiert sind, und f\u00f6rdern gleichzeitig das Erreichte und bestehende Best Practices.
