Die emotionale, sexuelle und psychologische Stereotypisierung von Frauen beginnt, wenn der Arzt sagt: \u201eEs ist ein M\u00e4dchen.\u201c<\/p>

Der 11. Oktober markiert den Internationalen Tag des M\u00e4dchens (International Day of the Girl, IDG), ein Tag, an dem wir feiern, wie weit wir bei der Beseitigung dieser Stereotypen gekommen sind und uns zum kontinuierlichen Kampf gegen Ungerechtigkeiten und Eingriffe in die Rechte von M\u00e4dchen verpflichten. In diesem Jahr wurde zur Feier des 10. Jahrestages des Tages das j\u00e4hrliche IDG Summit Girls SpeakOut in einem Hybridformat mit dem Thema \u201eMind the Gap \u2013 Girls Rights Now!\u201c veranstaltet.<\/p>

W\u00e4hrend sich die Veranstaltung mit den L\u00fccken befasste, die bei der vollst\u00e4ndigen Verwirklichung der Rechte von M\u00e4dchen bestehen, tauschten Aktivistinnen aus der ganzen Welt ihre Erfahrungen in einer offenen Diskussion mit UN-Vertretern aus. Die Diskussion wurde in drei Abschnitten \u00fcber den Zugang zu Bildung, das \u00dcberleben und den Schutz vor Gewalt sowie \u00fcber M\u00e4dchen als Akteure des Wandels gef\u00fchrt, die alle im Rahmen des UN-\u00dcbereinkommens \u00fcber die Rechte des Kindes von 1989 und der Erkl\u00e4rung und Plattform von Peking hervorgehoben wurden Aktion von 1995.<\/p>

Kashvi Agarwal, eine M\u00e4dchenaktivistin aus Indien, die die NGO IBVM UN vertritt, war eine der Moderatoren des diesj\u00e4hrigen Girls Speak Out. Die Veranstaltung wurde von der Arbeitsgruppe f\u00fcr M\u00e4dchen und UN-Frauen organisiert und von den St\u00e4ndigen Vertretungen Kanadas, Perus und der T\u00fcrkei bei den Vereinten Nationen gemeinsam gesponsert.<\/p>

Beim Girls SpeakOut standen M\u00e4dchenvertreterinnen im Mittelpunkt, die ihre Geschichten erz\u00e4hlten und sich f\u00fcr ihren Aktivismus einsetzten. Die UN-Vertreterinnen unterst\u00fctzten ihr Anliegen und schlossen sich ihrem Aufruf zur Gleichberechtigung an. Die Diskussion wurde von M\u00e4dchen geleitet, die dringende Fragen zur Rechenschaftspflicht gegen\u00fcber bestehenden Verpflichtungen, zur Umsetzung von Richtlinien zum Schutz von M\u00e4dchen vor Gewalt und Diskriminierung sowie zum Zugang zu Ressourcen und sicheren Zufluchtsorten stellten.<\/p>

Frau Sima Bahous (Untergeneralsekret\u00e4rin der Vereinten Nationen und Exekutivdirektorin von UN Women), Herr Feridun Sinirlio\u011flu (Vertreter der St\u00e4ndigen Vertretung T\u00fcrkiyes bei den Vereinten Nationen), Herr Pedroza (Vertreter der St\u00e4ndigen Vertretung Perus bei den Vereinten Nationen). ), Frau Karin Hulshof (stellvertretende UNICEF-Exekutivdirektorin f\u00fcr Partnerschaften) und Herr Richard Arbeiter (stellvertretender st\u00e4ndiger Vertreter der Mission Kanadas bei den Vereinten Nationen) waren die Hauptredner der Veranstaltung und sprachen vor der Versammlung und reagierten auf die Anrufe der M\u00e4dchen.<\/p>

Das diesj\u00e4hrige Girls Speak Out war ein Einblick in den Aktivismus der vergangenen Jahre, in den langen Weg, den wir noch vor uns haben, und in die dringende Erinnerung daran, dass der Aufruf von M\u00e4dchen auf der ganzen Welt lautet: \u201eGirls Rights Now!\u201c<\/p>
