Proyecto de leche para beb\u00e9s de Zambia<\/span><\/h3><\/div>

Las Hermanas IBVM (Loreto) de Sud\u00e1frica han trabajado con la comunidad del distrito de Lukulu en Zambia desde 2006. Uno de sus primeros proyectos, el suministro de leche a beb\u00e9s hu\u00e9rfanos y desnutridos, comenz\u00f3 cuando un superintendente m\u00e9dico zambiano del hospital local solicit\u00f3 ayuda al Hermanas para ayudar a salvar las vidas de cuatro beb\u00e9s hu\u00e9rfanos.<\/p>

El proyecto ha ayudado a salvar la vida de cientos de beb\u00e9s sin acceso a f\u00f3rmula l\u00e1ctea. Dado que el 15% de la poblaci\u00f3n de Zambia es VIH positivo, muchos beb\u00e9s, debido al riesgo de transmisi\u00f3n de madre a hijo, no pueden ser amamantados despu\u00e9s de los 6 meses de edad.<\/p>

El Covid 19 envolvi\u00f3 al mundo entero en su boca hambrienta y sedienta. Debido a que los gobiernos declararon el bloqueo, todas las industrias y f\u00e1bricas fueron cerradas y los mercados fueron cerrados. Algunas personas no tienen ad\u00f3nde ir para ganarse el pan de cada d\u00eda para ellas y sus familias.<\/p>

Sor Kiran CJ, Provincial de la Provincia de Patna, envi\u00f3 un mensaje a todas las comunidades de la Provincia: \u201cAsegurad que nadie muera de hambre en vuestra zona\u201d. En consecuencia, todas las Hermanas, en su propio nivel, iniciaron actividades para llegar a las personas m\u00e1s afectadas.<\/p>
