Los miembros del IBVM y CJ desempe\u00f1an un papel activo como parte de la sociedad civil que trabaja con las Naciones Unidas (ONU) en Nueva York. Como asociados del Departamento de Comunicaciones Globales (DGC) y con Estatus Consultivo Especial al Consejo Econ\u00f3mico y Social (ECOSOC) asistimos a los Briefings realizados por la DGC y ECOSOC y participamos en las Conferencias y Sesiones Anuales. Realizamos talleres y eventos durante las Conferencias anuales de la DGC y el ECOSOC, donde reunimos a miembros, colegas y personas con experiencia y conocimientos en \u00e1reas espec\u00edficas de Desarrollo Social y Sostenible. De la misma forma, la voz y la experiencia de las personas que viven en situaciones de marginaci\u00f3n contribuyen a nuestro trabajo por un mundo justo y sostenible.<\/p>

Nuestro trabajo en la ONU es m\u00e1s eficaz si se basa en las experiencias de la gente sobre el terreno. El Representantes de la ONU de la provincia de IBVM \/ CJ<\/strong> sirven como personas de contacto para sus provincias y proporcionan enlaces cr\u00edticos para la comunicaci\u00f3n entre los representantes en Nueva York y toda la red IBVM \/ CJ.<\/p>

Junto con la Red contra la trata de personas IBVM \/ CJ<\/strong>, Red de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe (LAC)<\/strong> y Red de ciudadan\u00eda global<\/strong>, informan el trabajo de incidencia de la ONG IBVM en la ONU. Estas redes est\u00e1n formadas por miembros y colegas de IBVM \/ CJ que est\u00e1n: trabajando en el terreno para erradicar la trata de personas, apoyando a las personas supervivientes de este crimen, viviendo y ministrando en LAC y educando en nuestras escuelas en m\u00e1s de 40 pa\u00edses.<\/p>
