El tema prioritario para este a\u00f1o es: \u201cPueblos Ind\u00edgenas, salud humana, salud planetaria y territorial y cambio clim\u00e1tico: un enfoque basado en derechos. &quot;<\/p><p>Despu\u00e9s de d\u00e9cadas de l\u00edderes ind\u00edgenas presionando por la inclusi\u00f3n y representaci\u00f3n en las Naciones Unidas, el 28 de julio de 2000, el UNPFII fue establecido como un \u00f3rgano asesor de alto nivel del Consejo Econ\u00f3mico y Social de las Naciones Unidas mediante la resoluci\u00f3n 2000\/22. Desde 2002, el UNPFII se re\u00fane anualmente. Los pueblos ind\u00edgenas pueden utilizar el Foro para crear conciencia, llevar cambios de pol\u00edticas a otros organismos de la ONU e influir en c\u00f3mo se implementan los derechos ind\u00edgenas a nivel local y nacional.<\/p><p>El Foro dio las siguientes recomendaciones y acciones futuras:<\/p><p>\u2022 <strong>Decenio Internacional de las Lenguas Ind\u00edgenas (2022-2032)<\/strong><br \/>Los Estados miembros implementan acciones para apoyar la revitalizaci\u00f3n, el fortalecimiento y el desarrollo de las lenguas de los pueblos ind\u00edgenas. Incluyendo la provisi\u00f3n adecuada, el apoyo y los recursos apropiados, centr\u00e1ndose en iniciativas lideradas por ind\u00edgenas, especialmente en circunstancias en las que las lenguas est\u00e1n en peligro cr\u00edtico. <br \/>\u2022 <strong>Mujeres y ni\u00f1as ind\u00edgenas<\/strong><br \/>Alarmadas por los informes generalizados de criminalizaci\u00f3n y asesinatos de mujeres ind\u00edgenas que defienden sus derechos y sus tierras y recursos, recomendaron que ONU Mujeres realice y presente un estudio para 2025 sobre los impactos de la colonizaci\u00f3n en los derechos de las mujeres y ni\u00f1as ind\u00edgenas. Se record\u00f3 a los Estados miembros sus obligaciones en virtud de la Convenci\u00f3n para eliminar la violencia contra la mujer (CEDAW).<br \/>\u2022 <strong>Plataformas Ind\u00edgenas dentro de las entidades de la ONU<\/strong><br \/>Inst\u00f3 a los Estados miembros y a las entidades de las Naciones Unidas a \u201cgarantizar la implementaci\u00f3n del consentimiento libre, previo e informado en todas las acciones y medidas, especialmente en el contexto del medio ambiente, la biodiversidad, el cambio clim\u00e1tico, los sistemas alimentarios y el desarrollo sostenible\u201d.
