Alguien se\u00f1al\u00f3 con raz\u00f3n que una persona es la suma de todo lo que ama, los libros que ha le\u00eddo, las personas que ha conocido, los eventos a los que ha asistido, etc. En este sentido, reconozco humildemente que, para m\u00ed, participar como delegado en el Foro Pol\u00edtico de Alto Nivel (HLPF) celebrado en Nueva York del 10 al 19 de julio, en la Sede de la ONU – un espacio de multilateralismo inclusivo – Fue el evento m\u00e1s impresionante, intenso, impactante, profundo, rico y de gran peso del que jam\u00e1s haya tenido el honor y la alegr\u00eda de ser parte.<\/p>

En primer lugar, quisiera expresar mi profundo agradecimiento a las hermanas Janet Palafox IBVM y Cynthia Mathew CJ por la gran oportunidad que me brindaron, invit\u00e1ndome a ser parte de esta realidad. Me dio la oportunidad de aprender mucho, de escuchar las voces de gobiernos, sociedades civiles, numerosos expertos de alto nivel, cient\u00edficos, l\u00edderes acad\u00e9micos y oradores inspiradores, as\u00ed como las delegaciones de los 39 pa\u00edses llamados a presentar los avances. realizados a mitad de la Agenda 2030. El foro se centr\u00f3 en cinco de los 17 objetivos seleccionados para este a\u00f1o: Objetivos 6 sobre agua potable y saneamiento, 7 sobre energ\u00eda limpia y asequible, 9 sobre industria, innovaci\u00f3n e infraestructura, 11 sobre ciudades y comunidades sostenibles y 17 sobre alianzas para los objetivos.<\/p>

Agradezco calurosamente a mis hermanas por su calidez, apertura y hospitalidad, por el continuo apoyo, asistencia y aliento que me han brindado. Incluyendo facilitar tantas reuniones, y por darme a conocer tantas personalidades, grupos, realidades y lugares, entre los que personalmente menciono:
\u2022 el encuentro con la se\u00f1ora Ioana-Cristina Mihail, experta en derechos humanos, asesora de Su Excelencia el Embajador Cornel Feru\u021b\u0103 en la Misi\u00f3n Permanente de Rumania ante las Naciones Unidas en Nueva York;
\u2022 la oportunidad de reunirse con la delegaci\u00f3n rumana, que present\u00f3 notables informes ENV, a los que se sumaron los excepcionales informes realistas y sinceros con las voces de los ni\u00f1os, la Declaraci\u00f3n de la Juventud, as\u00ed como los informes subnacionales.<\/p>

Particularmente interesante fue la ceremonia de clausura, cuando en este enorme escenario mundial, donde ante nosotros se desplegaba toda la cuesti\u00f3n del mundo arrodillado bajo el peso de sus dificultades, se nos present\u00f3 el resumen de lo que escuchamos: que a pesar de todos nuestros esfuerzos , vamos por buen camino y, en algunas \u00e1reas, hemos retrocedido. Sin embargo, nos alent\u00f3 que reformando la arquitectura financiera internacional, promoviendo la colaboraci\u00f3n de m\u00faltiples partes interesadas, no dejando a nadie atr\u00e1s y empoderando e involucrando a las mujeres y las ni\u00f1as en el logro de los ODS, se pueden contrarrestar las tendencias negativas. M\u00e1s que eso, en el contexto de las policrisis, el vac\u00edo de datos, se necesitan inversiones en recopilaci\u00f3n y gobernanza de datos y capacidad anal\u00edtica para garantizar la disponibilidad de datos compartibles, reutilizables, flexibles y receptivos e impulsar un cambio transformacional. Cada uno de los presentes fuimos invitados a tomar al menos dos ideas inspiradoras y decidir tomar al menos dos acciones que puedan ayudar a cambiar el mundo para mejor para implementar los ODS.<\/p>

Me gustar\u00eda concluir con unas palabras de profundo agradecimiento por la minuciosa preparaci\u00f3n previa en l\u00ednea realizada por Teresa Blumenstein, coordinadora de la Coalici\u00f3n de Religiosos por la Justicia (JCoR), y por el apoyo y el aliento que ella y los dem\u00e1s han disfrutado todos los delegados presentes durante todo el proceso. este per\u00edodo durante nuestros tiempos de oraci\u00f3n, reuniones, evaluaciones diarias y presentaciones.<\/p>
