Cada a\u00f1o, el 11 de octubre celebramos el D\u00eda Internacional de la Ni\u00f1a (DID). Durante los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os, hemos sido parte del Grupo de Trabajo sobre Ni\u00f1as’ Las ni\u00f1as de IDG hablan. Nuestra red de escuelas participar\u00eda enviando videos, poemas y obras de arte y tres de nuestros estudiantes fueron moderadores en 2022, 2021 y 2022. Es uno de los aspectos m\u00e1s destacados de nuestra colaboraci\u00f3n con nuestra red de j\u00f3venes.<\/p>

Girls SpeakOut se llev\u00f3 a cabo el 10 de octubre en la C\u00e1mara del ECOSOC con m\u00e1s de 400 participantes en persona y en l\u00ednea. Comenz\u00f3 con Olivia recordando que est\u00e1bamos all\u00ed porque “\u00a1ESTAMOS CON CHICAS! \u00a1SOMOS PARA NI\u00d1AS! Con ese llamado, se alent\u00f3 a las m\u00e1s de 200 ni\u00f1as l\u00edderes y defensoras a actuar por los derechos de las ni\u00f1as.<\/p>

Este a\u00f1o el tema del IDG es \u201cInvertir en los derechos de las ni\u00f1as: nuestro liderazgo y bienestar\u201d centr\u00e1ndose en la acci\u00f3n por los derechos de las ni\u00f1as. Las ni\u00f1as activistas hicieron declaraciones y preguntas a miembros de la comunidad de la ONU, que inclu\u00eda al Embajador Robert Rae (Representante Permanente de la Misi\u00f3n de Canad\u00e1 ante la ONU) y la Dra. Sima Sami Bahous (Directora Ejecutiva de ONU Mujeres) y otros responsables de compromisos alineados con Generaci\u00f3n Igualdad y los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.<\/p>

Junto con la Sociedad del Sagrado Coraz\u00f3n (RSCJ) y VIVAT Internacional tambi\u00e9n patrocinamos el D\u00eda 8 de los 11 D\u00edas de Acci\u00f3n pidiendo m\u00e1s inversiones en Educaci\u00f3n de Calidad para las Ni\u00f1as.
