El d\u00eda sirvi\u00f3 como foro para hablar sobre temas importantes que afectan a las ni\u00f1as de todo el mundo, con \u00e9nfasis en la seguridad, la salud y la educaci\u00f3n. Tener estos debates me ayud\u00f3 a apreciar mejor las dificultades particulares que enfrentan las ni\u00f1as y reafirm\u00f3 mi dedicaci\u00f3n a la lucha por sus derechos.<\/p><p>La necesidad de proteger la seguridad y el bienestar de las ni\u00f1as tanto en l\u00ednea como fuera de ella fue uno de los temas m\u00e1s urgentes que abordamos. Todas las ni\u00f1as necesitan sentirse seguras en casa, en la escuela y en los lugares p\u00fablicos. El Fondo de Poblaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas (UNFPA) destac\u00f3 c\u00f3mo el desarrollo de la tecnolog\u00eda digital ha hecho que la violencia de g\u00e9nero, como el acoso cibern\u00e9tico y el acoso en l\u00ednea, sea m\u00e1s frecuente. Dado que estos riesgos tienen el potencial de afectar negativamente la salud mental y el bienestar general de las ni\u00f1as, es fundamental investigar soluciones viables para mitigarlos.<\/p><p>Las ni\u00f1as de distintos or\u00edgenes expresaron su necesidad de entornos m\u00e1s seguros, lo que pone de relieve la necesidad de que actuemos para resolver estos problemas. Los gobiernos, las organizaciones y las comunidades deben trabajar juntos para crear entornos seguros donde las ni\u00f1as puedan prosperar sin miedo.<\/p><p>Tambi\u00e9n analizamos las dificultades particulares que enfrentan las ni\u00f1as, en toda su diversidad. Se analizaron la discriminaci\u00f3n y la explotaci\u00f3n por motivos de edad, g\u00e9nero, etnia, nacionalidad, identidad cultural, discapacidad, ubicaci\u00f3n y condici\u00f3n de migrantes, as\u00ed como los obst\u00e1culos para recibir la asistencia necesaria. Estos elementos suelen tener efectos perjudiciales para el bienestar general, la educaci\u00f3n y la salud de las ni\u00f1as.<\/p><p>Durante nuestras conversaciones se hizo evidente que las leyes destinadas a proteger nuestros derechos suelen ignorar la salud de las ni\u00f1as. Los servicios de salud esenciales, como la nutrici\u00f3n, la educaci\u00f3n, la asistencia en materia de salud mental y la atenci\u00f3n de la salud reproductiva, siguen siendo inaccesibles para muchas ni\u00f1as. Las normas sociales y culturales pueden limitar a\u00fan m\u00e1s el acceso a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, lo que aumenta la posibilidad de explotaci\u00f3n y violencia.<\/p><p>Como defensora de las ni\u00f1as nepalesas, siento un nuevo sentido de prop\u00f3sito al recordar este evento. Los desaf\u00edos que analizamos y las discusiones que tuvimos son esenciales para construir un futuro m\u00e1s brillante para las ni\u00f1as en todo el mundo. Nos empoderamos y marcamos el camino para las generaciones futuras al defender nuestra seguridad y nuestros derechos.<\/p><p>Todas las partes implicadas deben comprometerse a aplicar soluciones viables que aborden estos problemas a medida que avanzamos.
