Representar los intereses de los j\u00f3venes a trav\u00e9s de proyectos dirigidos por estudiantes me ha hecho apreciar profundamente el papel esencial que desempe\u00f1an las pol\u00edticas inclusivas y espec\u00edficas para aprovechar los talentos y las aspiraciones de mi generaci\u00f3n. El Pacto para el Futuro, especialmente las Acciones 34 y 35, encarna estos ideales e insta a la comunidad mundial a priorizar el empoderamiento de los j\u00f3venes a trav\u00e9s de la protecci\u00f3n social, la equidad educativa y la promoci\u00f3n de los derechos humanos para todos los j\u00f3venes. Estos compromisos reflejan una necesidad cr\u00edtica: garantizar que a cada joven no solo se le proporcionen los medios para so\u00f1ar, sino tambi\u00e9n el apoyo para prosperar en un pa\u00eds diverso y din\u00e1mico como la India.<\/p><p>La India es el pa\u00eds con la mayor poblaci\u00f3n de j\u00f3venes del mundo, ya que casi la mitad de sus ciudadanos son menores de 25 a\u00f1os. Si bien este grupo demogr\u00e1fico ofrece un potencial incomparable, los obst\u00e1culos sist\u00e9micos siguen siendo abrumadores. A pesar de una econom\u00eda floreciente, casi el 25% de los j\u00f3venes indios siguen desempleados, y las disparidades en el acceso a los recursos son marcadas entre las zonas urbanas y rurales. En centros metropolitanos como Calcuta, estas barreras sociales y econ\u00f3micas se ven agravadas por el acceso limitado a una educaci\u00f3n de calidad, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y recursos de salud mental. Para los j\u00f3venes de aqu\u00ed, las realidades a menudo distan de las visiones de empoderamiento delineadas en las agendas globales. Se estima que el 80% de los j\u00f3venes indios carecen de acceso a un apoyo estructurado de salud mental, lo que, sumado a las presiones de las limitaciones educativas y econ\u00f3micas, exacerba afecciones como la ansiedad y la depresi\u00f3n, en particular en los entornos universitarios.<\/p><p>Como estudiante de psicolog\u00eda, soy profundamente consciente de lo interconectados que est\u00e1n estos temas. Habiendo liderado iniciativas de salud mental en el campus, con frecuencia me he encontrado con estudiantes abrumados por las demandas de las limitaciones socioecon\u00f3micas. La accesibilidad limitada al asesoramiento, agravada por el estigma persistente en torno a la salud mental, crea una necesidad apremiante de pol\u00edticas informadas y viables a nivel de base. Las acciones 34 y 35 tienen particular relevancia aqu\u00ed, ya que exigen inversiones en el desarrollo hol\u00edstico que priorice el bienestar mental y f\u00edsico de los j\u00f3venes, desde servicios de salud adecuados hasta marcos educativos inclusivos. En una ciudad como Calcuta, donde la modernidad y la tradici\u00f3n se cruzan, estas acciones ofrecen una visi\u00f3n para abordar las disparidades en el apoyo social, reconociendo a los j\u00f3venes como beneficiarios y beneficiarios.<br \/>agentes activos de la cohesi\u00f3n social y la equidad.<\/p><p>Lo que m\u00e1s me entusiasma del Pacto para el Futuro es su firme compromiso de traducir las promesas globales en acciones alcanzables, creando v\u00edas que sean tan tangibles como ambiciosas. Para fomentar una resiliencia genuina en la juventud de Calcuta, debe haber un ecosistema que promueva la educaci\u00f3n inclusiva, integre la concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la salud mental en los programas acad\u00e9micos y defienda la preparaci\u00f3n para el trabajo. Estas ambiciones no son solo te\u00f3ricas; se basan en las aspiraciones de estudiantes como yo que luchan por el cambio. Las Acciones 34 y 35 encarnan esta visi\u00f3n al centrarse en marcos pr\u00e1cticos y sostenibles que empoderen a los j\u00f3venes en todos los niveles, brind\u00e1ndoles no solo habilidades sino tambi\u00e9n dignidad, capacidad de acci\u00f3n y apoyo para dar forma activamente a nuestro futuro.<\/p><p>Por lo tanto, el enfoque del Pacto refleja mi misi\u00f3n como l\u00edder estudiantil y defensor de la salud mental. Me inspira su visi\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes como l\u00edderes resilientes, individuos que est\u00e1n capacitados no solo para so\u00f1ar sino para actuar.
