Abogaron por un cambio vital en la percepci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>La educaci\u00f3n es crucial para el desarrollo sostenible en todo el mundo. La educaci\u00f3n sienta las bases para que las generaciones futuras, que deben vivir en un mundo que enfrenta problemas de cambio clim\u00e1tico y desigualdad, se conviertan en l\u00edderes de un cambio positivo y sostenible. La educaci\u00f3n es un derecho humano que abre puertas a la innovaci\u00f3n, el empleo, la igualdad de g\u00e9nero y muchos otros objetivos que la ONU desea alcanzar para 2030.<\/p><p>Los di\u00e1logos que siguieron resaltaron los tres principales desaf\u00edos del est\u00e1ndar internacional de educaci\u00f3n.<\/p><ol><li>Acceso: 263 millones de j\u00f3venes y 600 millones de adultos\/j\u00f3venes (60% son mujeres) no tienen acceso a la educaci\u00f3n. La educaci\u00f3n no se considera el derecho humano que es.<\/li><li>Calidad: Casi el 40% de los estudiantes abandonan la escuela primaria sin haber dominado ninguna habilidad b\u00e1sica en matem\u00e1ticas o lenguaje. La educaci\u00f3n necesita amplios recursos, formaci\u00f3n y una modernizaci\u00f3n del curr\u00edculo y del modelo de aprendizaje.<\/li><li>Gobernanza: se necesita una visi\u00f3n hol\u00edstica. Si bien un enfoque de arriba hacia abajo sigue siendo pertinente para garantizar una financiaci\u00f3n adecuada para la educaci\u00f3n, es necesario que haya m\u00e1s colaboraci\u00f3n con quienes se encuentran en el nivel de base: docentes y padres que entablan un di\u00e1logo profundo con los tomadores de decisiones clave.<\/li><\/ol><h4>Entonces\u2026 \u00bfcu\u00e1l es la soluci\u00f3n al tema del acceso y la calidad?<\/h4><p>\u00a1Innovaci\u00f3n!<\/p><p>La innovaci\u00f3n, aunque com\u00fanmente se utiliza en referencia a la tecnolog\u00eda, puede adoptar formas de muchas maneras. Un representante de WISE (Cumbre Mundial de Innovaci\u00f3n para la Educaci\u00f3n) habl\u00f3 sobre la innovaci\u00f3n en forma de cambio curricular, cambio en las pruebas estandarizadas y desarrollo de las instalaciones escolares f\u00edsicas.<\/p><p>Leslee Udwin, cineasta brit\u00e1nica y activista de derechos humanos, habl\u00f3 apasionadamente sobre la necesidad de innovar el plan de estudios escolar. Este fue un punto que realmente destac\u00f3 en la sala. La escuela debe ense\u00f1ar un aprendizaje social y emocional basado en valores. La educaci\u00f3n puede ser una herramienta para cambiar la mentalidad de los j\u00f3venes, ense\u00f1\u00e1ndoles c\u00f3mo existir en el mundo de forma pac\u00edfica. \u00a0<\/p><p>La tecnolog\u00eda puede utilizarse como conducto para el resultado del aprendizaje, y este fue un tema discutido en el segundo di\u00e1logo del evento. Las universidades en l\u00ednea brindan educaci\u00f3n de alta calidad, asequible y de f\u00e1cil acceso para todas las personas sin discriminaci\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Cabe se\u00f1alar que las herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas no deben reemplazar un sistema escolar tradicional. Un iPad no puede cumplir el papel multifac\u00e9tico de un maestro compasivo y emp\u00e1tico. En esta revoluci\u00f3n medi\u00e1tica en la que nos encontramos, no se debe socavar la centralidad de los docentes.<\/p><p>El tercer panel estuvo orientado a la planificaci\u00f3n de la educaci\u00f3n en situaciones humanitarias. Ante un desastre, la educaci\u00f3n es la menos resiliente o la menos priorizada.<\/p><p>La Asamblea General propuso la <strong>tres yo<\/strong> para seguir adelante:<\/p><p><strong>Invertir<\/strong> Financiamiento a largo plazo centrado en la planificaci\u00f3n y preparaci\u00f3n de escuelas y ni\u00f1os.<\/p><p><strong>Mejorar<\/strong> calidad de la educaci\u00f3n para alcanzar las metas de resultados de aprendizaje de los ODS. Esto significa desarrollar la capacidad docente y emplear un mecanismo para medir el progreso.<\/p><p><strong>Incluir<\/strong> cada ni\u00f1o. Todo ni\u00f1o tiene derecho a una educaci\u00f3n efectiva.<\/p><p>Leonor Briones, Secretaria del Departamento de Educaci\u00f3n de la Rep\u00fablica de Filipinas, cont\u00f3 una poderosa an\u00e9cdota sobre su experiencia cuando era ni\u00f1a, escribiendo en hojas de pl\u00e1tano para la escuela a ra\u00edz de un catastr\u00f3fico desastre natural. Fue la fuerza empoderadora del aprendizaje lo que la ayud\u00f3 a superar las inmensas dificultades.<\/p><p>Una conclusi\u00f3n clave de este evento ser\u00eda que la educaci\u00f3n es una llave que abre las puertas a todos los dem\u00e1s Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.
