Uno, con la Misi\u00f3n de la Santa Sede como patrocinador principal, llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n sobre el trabajo de las religiosas en la prevenci\u00f3n de la trata de personas y el rescate y empoderamiento de los sobrevivientes. Otro evento con el Comit\u00e9 de ONG para Detener la Trata de Personas se centr\u00f3 en el uso de la tecnolog\u00eda. Si bien Internet se utiliza de las formas m\u00e1s despreciables para traficar con ni\u00f1as y mujeres para el comercio sexual, se est\u00e1n realizando grandes esfuerzos para evitar que esto suceda y para abordar otros aspectos de la trata de personas. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p>Copatrocinamos un evento sobre las mujeres rurales como promotoras de cambios con historias de empoderamiento de la India y el sudeste asi\u00e1tico. La Hna. Cynthia CJ fue una de las panelistas.
