Las mujeres, los ni\u00f1os y los inmigrantes son especialmente vulnerables al reclutamiento y la explotaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p>El tema prioritario de la 60.\u00aa sesi\u00f3n de la Comisi\u00f3n de Desarrollo Social busca abordar la situaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de una recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s inclusiva y resiliente del COVID-19 y la erradicaci\u00f3n de la pobreza y el hambre.<\/p><p>Organizamos un evento paralelo sobre &#8220;Pobreza, hambre y trata de personas en persona; Intervenciones y buenas pr\u00e1cticas de organizaciones religiosas.&#8221; Nuestros oradores compartieron su experiencia y el trabajo de su organizaci\u00f3n para poner fin al trabajo forzoso, la esclavitud moderna y la trata de personas. Habl\u00f3 sobre su trabajo en educaci\u00f3n y defensa no solo entre sus miembros sino dentro de sus comunidades.<\/p><p>Nabanita Shome, Coordinadora del Proyecto Red-light Sonagachi-Kolkata, India, habl\u00f3 sobre el trabajo que realiza el Centro Social Kolkata Mary Ward en la educaci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes y su comunidad local en la prevenci\u00f3n de la trata de personas, especialmente entre los j\u00f3venes.
