Mi viaje CSW66 comenz\u00f3 el 12 de febrero con una chica’ grupo de redacci\u00f3n de declaraciones organizado por el Grupo de Trabajo sobre Ni\u00f1as (WGG). No estaba seguro de cu\u00e1nto podr\u00eda contribuir. Sin embargo, este evento termin\u00f3 siendo una gran oportunidad para conocer a ni\u00f1as de todo el mundo, escuchar sus perspectivas \u00fanicas y redactar la declaraci\u00f3n que se presentar\u00e1 ante la CSW de la ONU.<\/p>

Despu\u00e9s del caucus de ni\u00f1as, cuando me dijeron que pod\u00eda seguir participando en el foro de ONG de la CSW, me sent\u00ed honrada. Sab\u00eda que podr\u00eda escuchar y conectarme con muchas mujeres fuertes, empoderadas e inteligentes de todo el mundo. Antes de que comenzara la CSW, se nos dio la oportunidad de asistir a dos reuniones m\u00e1s de grupos de ni\u00f1as, lo que me ayud\u00f3 a ganar exposici\u00f3n para convertirme en una mejor defensora.\u00a0<\/p>

El primer evento de la ONG CSW al que asist\u00ed fue una ceremonia de orientaci\u00f3n patrocinada por la ONG CSW. Aqu\u00ed obtuve m\u00e1s conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos sobre los temas de la CSW66, el foro de ONG CSW y la CSW. La necesidad de asistir a todos y cada uno de los eventos era fuerte, pero debido a las zonas horarias y las superposiciones, eso no fue posible. Sin embargo, trat\u00e9 de asistir a tantos c\u00edrculos de conversaci\u00f3n y sesiones informativas de la sociedad civil como fuera posible.<\/p>

Adem\u00e1s de los eventos paralelos, tambi\u00e9n obtuvimos un enlace al calendario de todos los eventos paralelos organizados por varios estados miembros y asociados de la ONU. La ONG CSW ha determinado la forma en que pensaba sobre muchas cosas. Me hizo darme cuenta de la innegable conexi\u00f3n entre el cambio clim\u00e1tico, el riesgo de desastres y las desigualdades de g\u00e9nero. Encontr\u00e9 informaci\u00f3n impactante, como el hecho de que los desastres naturales matan a m\u00e1s mujeres que hombres y que las mujeres se ven afectadas de manera desproporcionada por el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>

Por supuesto, la informaci\u00f3n no es todo lo que obtuve. Tambi\u00e9n hice conexiones con otros defensores de JCOR y obtuve una direcci\u00f3n para llevar a cabo mi defensa. Si bien estas dos semanas fueron muy ocupadas, transcurrieron en un borr\u00f3n y me dejaron como una ambientalista y activista m\u00e1s segura, informada y empoderada.<\/p>
