Navan de Loreto St Michael's celebr\u00f3 su 44\u00aa Semana de Justicia Social consecutiva (del 28 de febrero al 4 de marzo). Con la flexibilizaci\u00f3n de las restricciones de Covid-19, el evento anual logr\u00f3 recuperar parte de su gloria anterior. La semana comenz\u00f3 el lunes 28 de febrero y toda la escuela pas\u00f3 el primer per\u00edodo analizando los antecedentes de la semana y el tema de la bondad.<\/p>

Dimos la bienvenida al concejal del condado local, Yemi Adenuga, quien habl\u00f3 con nuestros estudiantes de sexto a\u00f1o sobre las mujeres en la pol\u00edtica. Los representantes de Dogs Trust tambi\u00e9n visitaron el lunes y hablaron con nuestros estudiantes de primer a\u00f1o sobre la tenencia responsable de mascotas.<\/p>

D\u00eda 1: Nuestros compa\u00f1eros de TY ense\u00f1aron a los estudiantes de 1er a\u00f1o sobre la composici\u00f3n del mundo utilizando el recurso del Mundo de 100 Personas.<\/p>

D\u00eda 2: Le dimos la bienvenida al P. Peter McVerry, quien habl\u00f3 con nuestros estudiantes de quinto a\u00f1o sobre su trabajo con las personas sin hogar y aquellos que no tienen voz en la sociedad.<\/p>

D\u00eda 3: Le dimos la bienvenida a la escuela al Meath Food Bank y hablaron con varios grupos de a\u00f1o sobre su trabajo en la comunidad local.<\/p>

A lo largo de la semana nuestros compa\u00f1eros de 5\u00ba a\u00f1o impartieron clases a todos los de 1\u00ba, 2\u00ba y 3\u00ba en dos talleres sobre multiculturalismo y fast fashion.<\/p>

En el taller basado en el multiculturalismo, los estudiantes examinaron la composici\u00f3n de su grupo de a\u00f1o y observaron los or\u00edgenes, idiomas, costumbres, tradiciones y religiones practicadas en su grupo de a\u00f1o.<\/p>

El segundo taller fue sobre Fast Fashion. Durante este taller, los estudiantes examinaron las causas de la moda r\u00e1pida y dise\u00f1aron sus propias camisetas que describieron su aprendizaje clave en el taller.<\/p>

El Equipo de Educaci\u00f3n para el Desarrollo desea agradecer a todo el personal y los estudiantes por su ayuda para llevar a cabo otra Semana de Justicia Social exitosa.<\/p>
