El 31.\u00ba per\u00edodo de sesiones de la Comisi\u00f3n de Prevenci\u00f3n del Delito y Justicia Penal se celebr\u00f3 del 16 al 20 de mayo de 2022 en Viena. Se llev\u00f3 a cabo en un formato h\u00edbrido, lo que hizo posible que Nabanita Shome del Kolkata Mary Ward Social Center (KMWSC) asistiera como nuestra delegada.<\/p>

Hubo 1.300 participantes, entre ellos Estados Miembros, Institutos de las Naciones Unidas, organizaciones intergubernamentales y organizaciones no gubernamentales. Aparte de los procedimientos formales, se organizaron m\u00e1s de 80 talleres y eventos paralelos.<\/p>

En la sesi\u00f3n se adoptaron tres Resoluciones: Fortalecer el marco jur\u00eddico internacional para la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional para prevenir y combatir el tr\u00e1fico il\u00edcito de vida silvestre; Reducir la reincidencia mediante la rehabilitaci\u00f3n y la reintegraci\u00f3n, y Fortalecer los esfuerzos nacionales e internacionales, incluso con el sector privado, para proteger a los ni\u00f1os de la explotaci\u00f3n y el abuso sexuales. Enumer\u00f3 sus tres puntos importantes de reflexi\u00f3n:
1. Enfoque basado en sobrevivientes: llegar a un sobreviviente debe basarse en los t\u00e9rminos de los sobrevivientes y no en nuestro concepto de lo que est\u00e1 bien y lo que est\u00e1 mal.
