Engagement d'action pour mettre fin au travail des enfants<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2021 est l'Ann\u00e9e d\u00e9sign\u00e9e par les Nations Unies pour l'\u00e9limination du travail des enfants. Tout travail qui prive les enfants de leur enfance est d\u00e9fini comme du travail des enfants. Un enfant qui est forc\u00e9 de travailler au lieu de jouer perd son rire facile et sa chance d'apprendre de mani\u00e8re curieuse et cr\u00e9ative. Mais pour certains enfants et familles, ils doivent travailler car leur survie en d\u00e9pend.<\/p>\n

Il y a actuellement 40 millions de personnes dans l'esclavage moderne et 160 millions d'enfants dans le travail des enfants. Malheureusement, le travail des enfants est pass\u00e9 de 152 millions, la premi\u00e8re fois en deux d\u00e9cennies selon le rapport conjoint publi\u00e9 par l'UNICEF et l'Organisation internationale du travail (OIT) en juin 2021. En outre, il y a maintenant 79 millions d'enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 5 \u00e0 17 ans dans des situations dangereuses. travail. Plus d'un enfant sur quatre dans les pays les plus pauvres du monde est engag\u00e9 dans un travail potentiellement dangereux pour sa sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n

La cible 8.7 des objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable \u00e0 l'horizon 2030 nous appelle \u00e0 travailler ensemble pour mettre fin \u00e0 ces violations inacceptables des droits humains. Les membres de notre r\u00e9seau Mary Ward soutiennent et d\u00e9fendent d\u00e9j\u00e0 les enfants qui travaillent dans les briqueteries, dans des situations de travail domestique cach\u00e9es et dans d'autres contextes agricoles. <\/p>\n

Conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 notre engagement en faveur de l'\u00e9limination de la traite des \u00eatres humains et de la prise en charge des femmes et des enfants, nous avons rejoint l'alliance mondiale et nous nous sommes engag\u00e9s \u00e0 agir pour \u00e9liminer le travail des enfants en sensibilisant et en inspirant des actions locales au sein de notre r\u00e9seau mondial de plus de 50 000 \u00e9tudiants, membres du personnel. et les membres.<\/p>\n
