L&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement parall\u00e8le virtuel CSocD62, <em>&#8220;Ne pas laisser de c\u00f4t\u00e9 les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures\u00a0: comment combler le foss\u00e9 croissant entre les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations et les communaut\u00e9s&#8221;<\/em> est co-organis\u00e9 avec les S\u0153urs Maryknoll de Saint-Dominique, VIVAT International et les S\u0153urs de la Mission M\u00e9dicale. <strong>8 f\u00e9vrier (jeudi) \u00e0 partir de 9h45 &amp;#8211 ; 11h00 HNE<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Le th\u00e8me prioritaire CSocD62 est <em>&#8220;Favoriser le d\u00e9veloppement social et la justice sociale par le biais de politiques sociales afin d&#039;acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer les progr\u00e8s dans la mise en \u0153uvre du Programme de d\u00e9veloppement durable \u00e0 l&#039;horizon 2030 et d&#039;atteindre l&#039;objectif primordial d&#039;\u00e9radication de la pauvret\u00e9.&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0Les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable \u00e0 l\u2019horizon 2030 donnent la priorit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9radication de la pauvret\u00e9, mais nous ne sommes pas sur la bonne voie pour y parvenir. Le rapport du Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de 2023 pr\u00e9vient qu&#039;environ 575 millions de personnes, dont 340 millions de femmes et de filles, pourraient encore vivre dans l&#039;extr\u00eame pauvret\u00e9 d&#039;ici 2030. La pauvret\u00e9 est \u00e0 la fois un probl\u00e8me de genre et de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, affectant de mani\u00e8re disproportionn\u00e9e les jeunes, avec plus de 1,8 milliard de jeunes dans le monde. obstacles bien qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de la plus grande g\u00e9n\u00e9ration.<\/p><p>L\u2019impact de la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19 a aggrav\u00e9 les difficult\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques auxquelles sont confront\u00e9s les jeunes, en particulier ceux issus de milieux socio-\u00e9conomiques d\u00e9favoris\u00e9s, un sur cinq signalant une perte d\u2019emploi. Pour y rem\u00e9dier, l\u2019int\u00e9gration des principes sociaux, des droits de l\u2019homme et de l\u2019\u00e9galit\u00e9 des chances dans les politiques gouvernementales est cruciale pour atteindre les objectifs de 2030. La participation active des jeunes \u00e0 la prise de d\u00e9cision est essentielle pour un succ\u00e8s imm\u00e9diat et \u00e0 long terme.<\/p><p>Lors de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement parall\u00e8le, nous entendrons les voix de jeunes femmes et d&#039;experts dans les domaines des petites entreprises, des politiques publiques et du monde universitaire, et tirerons les le\u00e7ons de leurs exp\u00e9riences en ce qui concerne les impacts intersectionnels de la pauvret\u00e9.
