Les Conf\u00e9rence de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile (CSC)<\/strong> s'est tenu \u00e0 Nairobi, au Kenya, les 9 et 10 mai 2024. Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir inviter et de faire participer huit d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de notre r\u00e9seau, dont deux \u00e9tudiants de Loreto Msongari accompagn\u00e9s de leur professeur. Il s'agit de : Jackline Mwongela ibvm (Anti-Human Trafficking) ; Leonida Kwamboka Oriki ibvm (Femmes pour les femmes en Afrique)\u00a0; Pauline Wambui ibvm (Loreto Neema) ; Maureen Wanyora (Loreto Msongari) ; Phylice Nyabate (enseignante \u00e0 Loreto Msongari) ; Keendi Mwangi et Latifa Okoyo (\u00e9tudiantes \u00e0 Loreto Msongari). Teresia Wamuru Wachira ibvm \u00e9tait \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sente \u00e0 l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement pour repr\u00e9senter Pax Christi International.<\/p>

Notre d\u00e9l\u00e9gation s'est r\u00e9unie le premier jour pour assister \u00e0 l'ouverture de la pl\u00e9ni\u00e8re et organiser les \u00e9v\u00e9nements et les sessions de la Coalition ImPACT auxquels chaque membre assisterait. Pour presque tous nos d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s, c'\u00e9tait la premi\u00e8re fois qu'ils assistaient \u00e0 une conf\u00e9rence de l'ONU, et il y avait un m\u00e9lange palpable d'enthousiasme et d'appr\u00e9hension car ils ne savaient pas trop \u00e0 quoi s'attendre. Cependant, les copr\u00e9sidents du CSC et divers copr\u00e9sidents de comit\u00e9 ont fourni une excellente introduction et explication de l'objectif de la conf\u00e9rence et du programme de deux jours.<\/p>

Avant le CSC, certains de nos d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s ont assist\u00e9 \u00e0 deux r\u00e9unions pr\u00e9-conf\u00e9rence avec l'\u00e9quipe de Faith for Earth et les partenaires de Girl Deliver. Nous avons \u00e9galement assist\u00e9 \u00e0 une r\u00e9union avec la directrice ex\u00e9cutive adjointe d'ONU Femmes, Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda, apr\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e du CSC.<\/p>

Foi pour la Terre<\/strong>
Pauline Wambui IBVM et moi avons assist\u00e9 \u00e0 une r\u00e9union organis\u00e9e par Rohan Dominic CMF de Claretian \u2013 Fondazione Proclade Internazionale. La r\u00e9union, organis\u00e9e pour les membres des religieux de l'ONU (RUN) participant \u00e0 la conf\u00e9rence de Nairobi, s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e avec l'\u00e9quipe de la Coalition Faith for Earth. Cette coalition, cr\u00e9\u00e9e dans le cadre du Programme des Nations Unies pour l'environnement (PNUE), vise \u00e0 impliquer les acteurs religieux dans les efforts de protection et de conservation de l'environnement. Actuellement, ils collaborent avec 15 religions et 90 congr\u00e9gations, fournissant des ressources telles qu'un processus d'audit de consommation environnementale et des directives de festivals durables.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Au cours de la r\u00e9union, la coalition a soulign\u00e9 le r\u00f4le crucial de l'engagement des communaut\u00e9s religieuses \u00e0 l'ONU et a explor\u00e9 les moyens pour nous de participer \u00e0 leurs efforts. Cette s\u00e9ance a constitu\u00e9 une pr\u00e9paration pr\u00e9cieuse pour la conf\u00e9rence \u00e0 venir.<\/p>

Fille livrer<\/strong>
Avec nos deux d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de Loreto Msongari, nous avons particip\u00e9 aux partenaires Girl Deliver’ r\u00e9union pour \u00e9laborer une strat\u00e9gie sur la promotion des adolescentes&#8217\u00a0; droits humains lors du prochain CSC et du Sommet du futur. Keendi et Latifah, les seules filles d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9es pr\u00e9sentes, ont repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 notre groupe et ont partag\u00e9 leurs points de vue. Chaque organisation a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 ses plans d'action de plaidoyer\u00a0: le Groupe de travail sur les filles (WGG) a soulign\u00e9 notre soumission au Pacte pour l'avenir et a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 la bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils du cercle de conversation, tandis que Plan International a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 le Pacte pour les filles pour l'avenir.<\/p>

La r\u00e9union s'est termin\u00e9e par un accord visant \u00e0 poursuivre la collaboration et \u00e0 se concentrer sur les priorit\u00e9s communes en mati\u00e8re de plaidoyer. Beaucoup d'entre nous, en tant que repr\u00e9sentants d'organisations, pr\u00e9voyaient \u00e9galement de s'engager dans la Coalition ImPACT sur la jeunesse et l'engagement interg\u00e9n\u00e9rationnel : Action collective pour les jeunes, les adolescents et les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations plus \u00e2g\u00e9es.<\/p>

ONU Femmes<\/strong>
Nos deux filles d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9es, Latifah et Keendi, ont eu le privil\u00e8ge de rencontrer Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda, directrice ex\u00e9cutive adjointe d'ONU Femmes, lors de la r\u00e9union organis\u00e9e par ONU Femmes dans leur bureau de Nairobi. Ils \u00e9taient les plus jeunes d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s pr\u00e9sents et ont abord\u00e9 avec confiance leurs pr\u00e9occupations passionn\u00e9es concernant les questions sociales, en particulier la sant\u00e9 mentale et la violence sexiste.<\/p>

Au cours de la r\u00e9union, l'importance de la solidarit\u00e9 et de l'\u00e9tablissement de relations a \u00e9t\u00e9 soulign\u00e9e. La tendance des femmes et des filles \u00e0 faire parfois valoir leurs “droits” pour acquis a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnu. Il est crucial de se rappeler que les droits ne sont pas donn\u00e9s, ils sont pris.<\/p>
