El pasado 10 de octubre, un grupo de estudiantes del Colegio Fe y Alegr\u00eda 58 \u201cMary Ward\u201d particip\u00f3 de manera virtual en el International Day of the Girl Speak Out, organizado por el Working Group on Girls. Este evento global reuni\u00f3 las voces de ni\u00f1as y adolescentes de distintas partes del mundo, quienes compartieron sus demandas, experiencias y esperanzas para construir un futuro m\u00e1s justo e inclusivo.<\/span><\/p>

Escuchar estos testimonios fue una experiencia profundamente inspiradora para las participantes peruanas, quienes comenzaron a reflexionar sobre su propia realidad y los desaf\u00edos que enfrentan en su comunidad. Adem\u00e1s, esta experiencia les permiti\u00f3 conocer de cerca c\u00f3mo se desarrollan los eventos en el sistema de Naciones Unidas, comprendiendo as\u00ed que sus voces tambi\u00e9n pueden tener eco a nivel internacional.<\/span><\/p>

Al finalizar el evento, las estudiantes compartieron sus reflexiones y preocupaciones en un espacio de di\u00e1logo abierto y seguro. La inseguridad surgi\u00f3 como la problem\u00e1tica m\u00e1s urgente que enfrentan en su entorno cotidiano, seguida de temas relacionados con sus derechos y oportunidades como adolescentes mujeres.<\/span><\/p>

Esta experiencia reafirm\u00f3 la importancia de crear espacios donde las ni\u00f1as puedan expresarse, conectar con el mundo y reconocerse como agentes de cambio, con la fuerza necesaria para transformar su realidad. Desde Jicamarca, zona este de Lima,\u00a0 ha sido un hito para las chicas reconocerse en un espacio de talla mundial donde sus voces tambi\u00e9n son escuchadas y tienen valor.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

<\/span>On October 10, a group of students from Fe y Alegr\u00eda 58 \u201cMary Ward\u201d School participated virtually in the International Day of the Girl Speak Out, organized by the Working Group on Girls. This global event brought together the voices of girls and adolescents from around the world, who shared their demands, experiences, and hopes for building a more just and inclusive future.<\/span><\/p>

Listening to these testimonies was a deeply inspiring experience for the Peruvian participants, who began to reflect on their own reality and the challenges they face in their community. It also allowed them to gain a closer understanding of how events are held within the United Nations system, helping them realize that their voices, too, can resonate at the international level.<\/span><\/p>

At the end of the event, the students shared their reflections and concerns in an open and safe dialogue space. Insecurity emerged as the most pressing issue they face in their daily lives, followed by themes related to their rights and opportunities as adolescent girls.<\/span><\/p>

This experience reaffirmed the importance of creating spaces where girls can express themselves, connect with the world, and recognize themselves as agents of change with the power to transform their reality. From Jicamarca, in eastern Lima, it marked a milestone for these girls to see themselves in a global space where their voices are heard and valued.<\/span><\/p>
