C&#039;est pourquoi l&#039;Agenda 2030 pour le d\u00e9veloppement durable est primordial dans cette discussion. Les cibles 5.2, 8.7 et 16.2 touchent sp\u00e9cifiquement \u00e0 l&#039;in\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les sexes et \u00e0 l&#039;ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale qui doivent \u00eatre abord\u00e9es si nous voulons progresser vers la pr\u00e9vention.<\/p><p>Un discours r\u00e9v\u00e9lateur de Withelma &quot;T&quot; Oritz Walker Pettigrew, victime de trafic sexuel, a parl\u00e9 ouvertement de l&#039;importance de faire en sorte que ceux qui ont subi un tel traumatisme fassent partie du syst\u00e8me qui aide les autres survivants \u00e0 se r\u00e9tablir. De plus, elle a insist\u00e9 sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d&#039;un changement d&#039;orientation. D\u00e9sormais, un <strong>APPROCHE CENTR\u00c9E SUR LES SURVIVANTS<\/strong> est essentiel. L&#039;utilisation de ressources pour \u00e9duquer, responsabiliser et engager des poursuites judiciaires pour les victimes de la traite des \u00eatres humains est une solution \u00e0 bien plus long terme et devrait \u00eatre universalis\u00e9e pour aider \u00e0 emp\u00eacher que de telles atrocit\u00e9s ne se produisent en premier lieu.<\/p><p>Une citation cl\u00e9 de la conf\u00e9rence \u00e9tait de Kay Buck, directrice ex\u00e9cutive de la Coalition contre l&#039;esclavage et la traite (CAST), o\u00f9 elle a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que \u00ab cette g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de survivants sera la derni\u00e8re \u00bb. CAST plaide en faveur de politiques et d&#039;une l\u00e9gislation novatrices qui vont \u00e0 l&#039;encontre de l&#039;identification erron\u00e9e et injuste des victimes en tant que criminels. CAST adopte une approche holistique pour soutenir des milliers de survivants, en fournissant des conseils, des ressources juridiques, un logement, une \u00e9ducation, une formation en leadership et un mentorat.<\/p><p>Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 maintes reprises que le crime odieux de la traite des \u00eatres humains est le r\u00e9sultat de nombreux facteurs sociaux et de vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9s pr\u00e9existantes qui doivent \u00eatre corrig\u00e9es. Il s&#039;agit notamment de l&#039;in\u00e9galit\u00e9 entre les sexes, du manque d&#039;\u00e9ducation et de la pauvret\u00e9.<\/p><p>La solution \u00e0 ces probl\u00e8mes est vaste et multiforme, les cibles des ODD faisant beaucoup pour d\u00e9finir les mesures pratiques qui doivent \u00eatre prises. Les autres strat\u00e9gies abord\u00e9es lors de l&#039;audience comprennent\u00a0:<\/p><ul><li>Programme d&#039;\u00e9tudes mondial dans chaque \u00e9cole sur les risques de l&#039;industrie de la traite<\/li><li>Changer la l\u00e9gislation en une approche centr\u00e9e sur les survivants - mettre fin \u00e0 la p\u00e9nalisation des victimes<\/li><li>R\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la demande de main-d&#039;\u0153uvre bon march\u00e9 et de sexe commercialis\u00e9 - la cha\u00eene d&#039;approvisionnement commerciale qui existe aujourd&#039;hui alimente cette demande<\/li><li>Allouer des ressources SIGNIFICATIVES, pas seulement le financement minimum<\/li><li>Approche multidisciplinaire de la poursuite des trafiquants et de la reconversion des forces de l&#039;ordre.<\/li><li>Encadrer la sensibilisation du grand public sur le fait que leurs dons \u00e0 cette cause sont un \u00ab\u00a0m\u00e9canisme de sauvetage\u00a0\u00bb.<\/li><li>Autonomiser les victimes par la th\u00e9rapie et l&#039;action en justice<\/li><li>Pr\u00e9voir un m\u00e9canisme de r\u00e9vision du plan global, pour \u00e9valuer les progr\u00e8s<\/li><li>Mettre en place des plans de gestion de crise pour les catastrophes naturelles potentielles, car ces types d&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nements sont directement li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&#039;augmentation des cas de traite des \u00eatres humains, en raison du d\u00e9sespoir qu&#039;elle provoque. \u00c0 la suite d&#039;une catastrophe naturelle, un bouleversement de la situation conduit les forces de l&#039;ordre et les autorit\u00e9s \u00e0 n\u00e9gliger les membres menac\u00e9s de la traite.
