Cette ann\u00e9e, c&#039;\u00e9tait le 26 septembre. Le th\u00e8me \u00e9tait &#8220;Vers un &#8220;WE.&#8221;<\/p><p>Nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 nous souvenir des nombreuses personnes vuln\u00e9rables qui sont oblig\u00e9es de fuir leur foyer \u00e0 la recherche d&#039;un avenir plus s\u00fbr. Nous sommes appel\u00e9s \u00e0 ouvrir nos c\u0153urs, \u00e0 \u00eatre accueillants, inclusifs, ouverts \u00e0 l&#039;&#8220;autre&#8221; et c\u00e9l\u00e9brer notre diversit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Christa Parra IBVM vit et travaille actuellement avec des migrants \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re d&#039;El Paso, aux \u00c9tats-Unis et de Juarez, au Mexique. Elle travaille en collaboration avec d&#039;autres s\u0153urs de diverses congr\u00e9gations religieuses et b\u00e9n\u00e9voles. Elle a re\u00e7u la visite de Judy Illig IBVM et Mary Carton IBVM.<\/p><p>Mary Carton a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 la visite &#8220;<em>\u00e9tait une visite pastorale \u00e0 Christa \u2013 la voir chez elle et sur ses lieux de travail, rencontrer les personnes importantes pour elle et celles qui lui donnent la vie, voir comment sa foi et sa connexion \u00e0 l&#039;IBVM sont soutenues.<\/em>&#8221; Ils ont \u00e9galement pu visiter d&#039;autres refuges pour migrants des deux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de la fronti\u00e8re. Elles ont eu la chance de pouvoir partager des histoires et des repas avec certaines des femmes migrantes et leurs enfants.<\/p><p>Marie partage l&#039;histoire :<\/p><p><em>&#8220;Jeudi matin, nous nous sommes tous assis en cercle. Christa a invit\u00e9 chaque femme \u00e0 raconter son histoire \u2013 autant ou aussi peu qu&#039;elle le souhaitait \u2013 en espagnol. Christa l&#039;a ensuite traduit \u00e0 Judy et \u00e0 moi. Pour commencer, elle nous a demand\u00e9 de parler un peu de nous-m\u00eames, afin qu&#039;ils puissent en apprendre davantage sur nous. Puis petit \u00e0 petit les autres racontaient des histoires. Certains aspects du voyage sont ressortis \u2013 la raison du d\u00e9part du Guatemala, pas trop sur le voyage, les difficult\u00e9s dans certains des abris le long du chemin et les d\u00e9fis \u00e0 la fronti\u00e8re. Ce r\u00e9seau de refuges \u00e0 Juarez\/El Paso est un r\u00e9seau caritatif et s\u00fbr. Mais pas tout. Agression, abus, drogue, vol &#8211; ils chacun \u2013 m\u00e8re et enfant &#8211; en avait v\u00e9cu tout ou partie en cours de route. Pourtant, ils ont \u00e9galement parl\u00e9 des beaux paysages le long du chemin. C&#039;\u00e9tait, comme Judy l&#039;a dit, \u00e0 la fois r\u00e9confortant et d\u00e9chirant \u00e0 \u00e9couter. Les larmes coulaient \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents moments, les c\u00e2lins abondaient apr\u00e8s que nous ayons appris \u00e0 nous conna\u00eetre d&#039;une nouvelle mani\u00e8re.
