Initi\u00e9 en 2020 et organis\u00e9 par l&#039;\u00e9cole St. Agnes Loreto \u00e0 Lucknow, l&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement r\u00e9unit de nombreuses \u00e9coles IBVM et CJ en Asie du Sud ( Inde, N\u00e9pal et Bangladesh). S\u0153ur Janet Palafox ibvm a prononc\u00e9 le discours d&#039;ouverture et a encourag\u00e9 les participants \u00e0 tirer les le\u00e7ons de cette exp\u00e9rience et \u00e0 s&#039;impliquer dans la politique locale, nationale et mondiale pour plaider en faveur du changement social. Sr Cynthia Mathew a prononc\u00e9 le discours de cl\u00f4ture et a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 les \u00e9tudiants pour la mani\u00e8re dont ils ont men\u00e9 leurs d\u00e9lib\u00e9rations. Ce fut une merveilleuse opportunit\u00e9 de relier les \u00e9tudiants au travail du Bureau des ONG.<\/p><p>La simulation mod\u00e8le ONU est un moyen efficace d\u2019en apprendre davantage sur le fonctionnement des Nations Unies. Les conf\u00e9rences sont organis\u00e9es par des \u00e9tablissements d&#039;enseignement comme St. Agnes pour engager vos \u00e9tudiants dans des d\u00e9bats et des dialogues diplomatiques similaires \u00e0 ceux des Nations Unies. Il permet aux \u00e9tudiants de se familiariser avec les affaires internationales et d&#039;acqu\u00e9rir une compr\u00e9hension des comp\u00e9tences en diplomatie et en n\u00e9gociation.<\/p><p>Le SAMUN de cette ann\u00e9e s&#039;est concentr\u00e9 sur l&#039;importance d&#039;\u00e9duquer les jeunes sur les id\u00e9aux de connaissance, d&#039;innovation et, surtout, de V\u00c9RIT\u00c9. Comme l\u2019indique leur brochure\u00a0:<\/p><p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>Le monde dont ils h\u00e9ritent est le fardeau de la jeunesse, et le changer est leur devoir et leur privil\u00e8ge. Si nous voulons voir des id\u00e9es et un leadership capables de provoquer un changement suffisamment puissant, nous devons \u00e9lever les dirigeants de notre futur sur des id\u00e9aux de connaissance, d\u2019innovation et de v\u00e9rit\u00e9. L&#039;ignorance et la stagnation n&#039;ont pas leur place dans cette vision de notre avenir.<\/em><\/p><p>SAMUN 2021 a donn\u00e9 aux \u00e9tudiants, de la 8e \u00e0 la 12e ann\u00e9e, l&#039;occasion de comprendre les probl\u00e8mes fondamentaux qui menacent la paix et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 mondiales. Les \u00e9tudiants ont examin\u00e9 les questions li\u00e9es aux relations entre les \u00c9tats-Unis et le Royaume-Uni apr\u00e8s le Brexit ; commerce et coop\u00e9ration multilat\u00e9rale; conflit politique; l&#039;int\u00e9gration des migrants et des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, en particulier des femmes et des minorit\u00e9s de genre\u00a0; r\u00e9ponse mondiale aux catastrophes naturelles et construction de villes plus r\u00e9silientes en se concentrant sur les ODD 3, 10 et 13 (sant\u00e9, r\u00e9duction des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s et action climatique). Les \u00e9tudiants participants se sont montr\u00e9s articul\u00e9s, ont d\u00e9battu avec comp\u00e9tence des positions de leur pays et ont fait preuve de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 dans leurs d\u00e9lib\u00e9rations.<\/p><p>Les \u00e9tudiants \u00e9taient soutenus par un conseil d&#039;administration compos\u00e9 d&#039;acad\u00e9miciens, de chercheurs et d&#039;anciens \u00e9tudiants, d&#039;\u00e9minents conf\u00e9renciers et d&#039;un comit\u00e9 d&#039;organisation d\u00e9di\u00e9 compos\u00e9 de personnel et d&#039;\u00e9tudiants. C&#039;\u00e9tait un groupe impressionnant de personnes qui ont guid\u00e9 les d\u00e9lib\u00e9rations et ont fourni des conseils, en particulier sur les m\u00e9canismes et les techniques du mod\u00e8le des Nations Unies. Les \u00e9tudiants semblaient avoir appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 et appris de leurs exp\u00e9riences.<\/p><p>Le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de cette ann\u00e9e \u00e9tait Prateeksha Shukla, l&#039;un de nos jeunes d\u00e9fenseurs. Le secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l&#039;ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente (2020) \u00e9tait Riya Bhargava, notre stagiaire actuelle repr\u00e9sentante de la jeunesse.
