Os membros da IBVM e do CJ desempenham um papel ativo como parte da Sociedade Civil que trabalha com as Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas (ONU) em Nova Iorque. Como associados do Departamento de Comunica\u00e7\u00f5es Globais (DGC) e com estatuto consultivo especial junto do Conselho Econ\u00f3mico e Social (ECOSOC) participamos nos Briefings realizados pelo DGC e pelo ECOSOC e participamos nas Confer\u00eancias e Sess\u00f5es Anuais. Realizamos workshops e eventos durante as confer\u00eancias anuais do DGC e ECOSOC, onde reunimos membros, colegas e pessoas com experi\u00eancia e conhecimento em \u00e1reas espec\u00edficas de Desenvolvimento Social e Sustent\u00e1vel. Da mesma forma, a voz e a experi\u00eancia das pessoas que vivem em situa\u00e7\u00f5es marginalizadas contribuem para o nosso trabalho por um mundo justo e sustent\u00e1vel.<\/p>

O nosso trabalho na ONU \u00e9 mais eficaz se for informado pelas experi\u00eancias das pessoas no terreno. O Representantes da ONU da Prov\u00edncia IBVM\/CJ<\/strong> servir como pessoas de contato para suas prov\u00edncias e fornecer links cr\u00edticos para a comunica\u00e7\u00e3o entre os representantes em Nova York e toda a rede IBVM\/CJ.<\/p>

Junto com o Rede Antitr\u00e1fico de Pessoas IBVM\/CJ<\/strong>, Rede Latino-Americana e Caribenha (ALC)<\/strong> e Rede de Cidadania Global<\/strong>, eles informam o trabalho de advocacy da ONG IBVM na ONU. Estas redes consistem em membros e colegas da IBVM\/CJ que est\u00e3o: trabalhando no terreno para erradicar o tr\u00e1fico humano de pessoas, apoiando sobreviventes deste crime, vivendo e ministrando na ALC e educando nas nossas escolas em mais de 40 pa\u00edses.<\/p>
