A 61\u00aa Sess\u00e3o da Comiss\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para o Desenvolvimento Social (CSocD61) teve lugar de 6 a 15 de fevereiro de 2023 em Nova Iorque. As Comiss\u00f5es da ONU s\u00e3o as principais vias onde as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o governamentais (ONG) trazem as vozes e preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es das pessoas de todo o mundo e tentam influenciar as pol\u00edticas que afectam as pessoas e o planeta. O tema priorit\u00e1rio da Comiss\u00e3o para o Desenvolvimento Social 2023 foi \u201cCriar emprego pleno e produtivo e trabalho digno para todos como forma de superar as desigualdades para acelerar a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da pandemia da COVID-19 e a plena implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da Agenda 2030 para o Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel. \u201d<\/p>

Como organiza\u00e7\u00e3o membro do Comit\u00e9 de ONG para o Desenvolvimento Social (ONG CSocD), fornecemos contributos para o projecto de resolu\u00e7\u00e3o, redigimos pontos de defesa e reunimo-nos com Embaixadores e Delegados de v\u00e1rios pa\u00edses (conhecidos como Visitas de Miss\u00e3o) para contribuir para as discuss\u00f5es e resolu\u00e7\u00f5es. Como os nossos membros (IBVM e CJ) est\u00e3o envolvidos na cria\u00e7\u00e3o de trabalho digno para as pessoas das comunidades marginalizadas, que s\u00e3o na sua maioria mulheres e jovens, pudemos trazer as suas preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>

Al\u00e9m disso, partilh\u00e1mos as nossas boas pr\u00e1ticas num evento paralelo que organizamos com outras ONG durante a Comiss\u00e3o. O evento intitulado \u201cTrabalho decente para todos: Acabar com a vulnerabilidade atrav\u00e9s da educa\u00e7\u00e3o e do empoderamento econ\u00f3mico\u201d, incluiu tr\u00eas das nossas Irm\u00e3s da \u00cdndia, Qu\u00e9nia e Eslov\u00e1quia no painel, juntamente com um jovem do Centro Social Mary Ward de Calcut\u00e1, \u00cdndia. O orador principal foi a Embaixadora Allie Kabba, Representante Permanente da Miss\u00e3o da Serra Leoa junto da ONU.<\/p>

Nossa estagi\u00e1ria, Prateeksha Shukla, juntamente com outro jovem da Red Dot Foundation, um de nossos co-patrocinadores, foram os moderadores. Os oradores destacaram o seu envolvimento com as comunidades locais, grupos de jovens e mulheres para fornecer educa\u00e7\u00e3o de qualidade, programas de desenvolvimento de compet\u00eancias e diversas atividades de microfinanciamento, apoiando-os na cria\u00e7\u00e3o de empregos e meios de subsist\u00eancia para si pr\u00f3prios. Partilharam hist\u00f3rias de como as mulheres jovens e as raparigas das comunidades rurais, atrav\u00e9s do apoio socioecon\u00f3mico, est\u00e3o a reconstruir as suas vidas e a trabalhar para acabar com a sua vulnerabilidade. Prioridades de defesa de direitos<\/strong><\/p>

A ONG CSocD Advocacy Group, da qual fazemos parte, desenvolveu pontos de discuss\u00e3o e recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es de advocacia como segue:
1. Combater a crescente desigualdade econ\u00f3mica e social atrav\u00e9s da protec\u00e7\u00e3o social universal, de pol\u00edticas salariais e da formaliza\u00e7\u00e3o do trabalho.
2. Implementar pol\u00edticas e programas inclusivos, centrados nas pessoas e sens\u00edveis ao g\u00e9nero.
3. Fornecer educa\u00e7\u00e3o, qualifica\u00e7\u00e3o, aperfei\u00e7oamento e treinamento digital para todos.
4. Investir em iniciativas e pol\u00edticas para a cria\u00e7\u00e3o e redistribui\u00e7\u00e3o de capital humano.
5. Destacar e dinamizar o movimento rumo a um contrato social renovado e \u00e0 cimeira social mundial em 2025.<\/p>
