No dia 26 de outubro, organizamos nosso webinar de anivers\u00e1rio de 20 anos, Just Souls: Mary Ward Family and Faith Based Organizations nas Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas. Tivemos mais de 130 participantes virtuais da nossa rede IBVM\/CJ, colegas de ONGs e colaboradores. O evento foi uma colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com a nossa rede: Nossos jovens estagi\u00e1rios, Mary Ward Centre Canada e IBVM Mary Ward Peru (moderadores e assist\u00eancia t\u00e9cnica) e IBVM Espanha e CJ Latin European (tradutores).<\/p>

Apresentamos o videoclipe do nosso palestrante principal, Dr. Azza Karam, acima. O Dr. Karam lembrou-nos da import\u00e2ncia da colabora\u00e7\u00e3o de diferentes religi\u00f5es para um mundo melhor e mais justo, fornecendo exemplos hist\u00f3ricos. No estado atual do nosso mundo, a sua mensagem \u00e9 clara – pessoas de todas as religi\u00f5es precisam encontrar uma maneira de viver em paz e de trabalhar juntas pela paz. A guerra n\u00e3o \u00e9 uma op\u00e7\u00e3o. Ela lembrou-nos que s\u00e3o as mulheres e as crian\u00e7as que mais sofrem nos conflitos. N\u00e3o precisamos nos concentrar nas diferen\u00e7as da nossa tradi\u00e7\u00e3o de f\u00e9, mas lembrar que todos fomos criados pela mesma. Temos que trabalhar pela paz para a nossa humanidade comum. O Dr. Karam desafiou-nos a “a colaborar atrav\u00e9s da f\u00e9 em todas as quest\u00f5es de bem comum em todo o mundo.”<\/p>

Ela foi seguida pelo painel de Pat Murray ibvm e Evanne Hunter ibvm que falaram sobre como a lideran\u00e7a da IBVM decidiu estabelecer o escrit\u00f3rio da ONG da ONU e os desafios dos primeiros anos. Mensagem de Anne Kelly ibvm<\/a> foi lido e Cecilia O’Dwyer ibvm compartilhou como ela, junto com jovens estagi\u00e1rios e mais tarde com Cynthia Mathew cj, criou consci\u00eancia e impacto dentro da rede.<\/p>

O pr\u00f3ximo painel consistiu em Prisca Vadakepoondikulam CJ e Deepti Beena CJ que compartilharam sua experi\u00eancia de colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com o escrit\u00f3rio. Aarya Jha, defensora da juventude de Mary Ward, falou sobre a sua experi\u00eancia de envolvimento com outros jovens enquanto participava em atividades de defesa de direitos na ONU.<\/p>
