T\u00eam duas vezes mais probabilidades do que os rapazes de serem desligados do emprego, da educa\u00e7\u00e3o ou de oportunidades de forma\u00e7\u00e3o. Al\u00e9m disso, as raparigas enfrentam barreiras significativas no acesso e na alfabetiza\u00e7\u00e3o digitais, o que restringe ainda mais as suas oportunidades. Globalmente, as raparigas adolescentes enfrentam limita\u00e7\u00f5es na sua autonomia em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 sa\u00fade e aos direitos sexuais e reprodutivos. Tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o t\u00eam oportunidades suficientes para exercer o seu direito \u00e0 liberdade de express\u00e3o e para participar em fun\u00e7\u00f5es de lideran\u00e7a. Estes desafios obstruem colectivamente o seu progresso e capacita\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p><p>A pobreza afecta desproporcionalmente mulheres e raparigas, tornando-se uma quest\u00e3o profundamente ligada ao g\u00e9nero. Por esta raz\u00e3o, submetemos a nossa Declara\u00e7\u00e3o Escrita \u00e0 68\u00aa Sess\u00e3o da Comiss\u00e3o sobre o Estatuto da Mulher. Com informa\u00e7\u00f5es das nossas redes e do Graal, Global GLOW e Vivat International, levantamos as quest\u00f5es enfrentadas por mulheres e meninas em diversas comunidades.<\/p><p>As nossas redes situadas em mais de 100 pa\u00edses apoiam mulheres, raparigas e as suas comunidades e oferecem uma gama de programas centrados na educa\u00e7\u00e3o, orienta\u00e7\u00e3o e desenvolvimento de capacidades econ\u00f3micas, pol\u00edticas e sociais.
