Sendo uma defensora das meninas nepalesas, participar do Dia Internacional das Meninas deste ano foi incrivelmente poderoso. O dia serviu como um f\u00f3rum para falar sobre t\u00f3picos importantes que impactam meninas ao redor do mundo, com \u00eanfase em seguran\u00e7a, sa\u00fade e educa\u00e7\u00e3o. Ter essas discuss\u00f5es me ajudou a apreciar melhor as dificuldades particulares enfrentadas pelas meninas e reafirmou minha dedica\u00e7\u00e3o em lutar por seus direitos.<\/p>

A necessidade de proteger a seguran\u00e7a e o bem-estar das meninas, tanto online quanto offline, foi uma das quest\u00f5es mais urgentes que abordamos. Toda menina precisa se sentir segura em casa, na escola e em locais p\u00fablicos. O Fundo de Popula\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas (UNFPA) enfatizou como o desenvolvimento da tecnologia digital tornou a viol\u00eancia de g\u00eanero, como cyberbullying e ass\u00e9dio online, mais prevalente. Como esses riscos t\u00eam o potencial de afetar negativamente a sa\u00fade mental e o bem-estar geral das meninas, \u00e9 fundamental investigar solu\u00e7\u00f5es vi\u00e1veis para mitigar esses riscos.<\/p>

Meninas de diversas origens expressaram sua necessidade de ambientes mais seguros, destacando a necessidade de agirmos para resolver esses problemas. Governos, organiza\u00e7\u00f5es e comunidades devem trabalhar juntos para criar ambientes seguros onde as meninas possam florescer sem medo.<\/p>

Tamb\u00e9m exploramos as dificuldades particulares que as meninas, em toda a sua diversidade, encontram. Discrimina\u00e7\u00e3o e explora\u00e7\u00e3o com base em idade, g\u00eanero, etnia, nacionalidade, identidade cultural, defici\u00eancia, localiza\u00e7\u00e3o e status de migrante foram exploradas, assim como obst\u00e1culos para receber a assist\u00eancia necess\u00e1ria. Esses elementos frequentemente t\u00eam efeitos prejudiciais no bem-estar geral, educa\u00e7\u00e3o e sa\u00fade das meninas.<\/p>

Ficou evidente durante nossas conversas que as leis destinadas a proteger nossos direitos geralmente ignoram a sa\u00fade das meninas. Servi\u00e7os essenciais de sa\u00fade, incluindo nutri\u00e7\u00e3o, educa\u00e7\u00e3o, assist\u00eancia \u00e0 sa\u00fade mental e cuidados de sa\u00fade reprodutiva, permanecem inacess\u00edveis para muitas meninas. Normas sociais e culturais podem limitar ainda mais o acesso a cuidados m\u00e9dicos, aumentando a possibilidade de explora\u00e7\u00e3o e viol\u00eancia.<\/p>

Como defensora das meninas nepalesas, sinto um novo senso de prop\u00f3sito depois de pensar neste evento. Os desafios que discutimos e as discuss\u00f5es que tivemos s\u00e3o essenciais para construir um futuro mais brilhante para as meninas globalmente. N\u00f3s nos empoderamos e definimos o caminho para as gera\u00e7\u00f5es futuras ao nos destacarmos por nossa seguran\u00e7a e direitos.<\/p>

Todas as partes envolvidas devem se comprometer a implementar solu\u00e7\u00f5es vi\u00e1veis que abordem essas quest\u00f5es \u00e0 medida que avan\u00e7amos. Ao trabalharmos juntos, podemos construir uma cultura na qual todas as meninas, independentemente de sua cria\u00e7\u00e3o, se sintam respeitadas, seguras e empoderadas para se envolverem totalmente na sociedade. Para garantir que todas n\u00f3s tenhamos a chance de ter sucesso, vamos continuar falando e lutando pelos direitos de todas as mulheres.<\/p>
