El C\u00edrculo de Ni\u00f1as naci\u00f3 como un espacio pensado para ellas: seguro, participativo y lleno de posibilidades. La experiencia se llev\u00f3 a cabo en la comunidad de Huayc\u00e1n, donde 42 ni\u00f1as y adolescentes de seis instituciones educativas se reunieron en el marco del D\u00eda de la Ni\u00f1a, gracias a la iniciativa del Centro de Desarrollo Warmi Wasi liderado por la hermana Deepa Biswas IBVM.<\/span><\/p>

Desde el inicio, la metodolog\u00eda marc\u00f3 la diferencia. No se trataba de un taller tradicional, sino de un proceso vivo, donde las ni\u00f1as dise\u00f1aron juntas cada detalle, propusieron temas y decidieron c\u00f3mo quer\u00edan vivir la experiencia. A trav\u00e9s de un liderazgo compartido, asumieron roles de facilitadoras, relatoras y apoyos, apropi\u00e1ndose del espacio y fortaleciendo su voz en un entorno de confianza y respeto.<\/span><\/p>

Uno de los momentos m\u00e1s significativos fue el encuentro intergeneracional, que busc\u00f3 tender puentes entre generaciones. Ni\u00f1as y adolescentes dialogaron con mujeres l\u00edderes e instituciones aliadas, como la Defensor\u00eda del Pueblo de Lima Este y el Centro de Emergencia Mujer de\u00a0 Huayc\u00e1n. En ese ambiente c\u00e1lido e inspirador, escucharon historias de vida, recibieron consejos y visualizaron su propio camino como agentes de cambio.<\/span><\/p>

El impacto fue tan potente que la Gerencia de Desarrollo Social de la municipalidad invit\u00f3 a replicar la experiencia en tres escuelas adicionales. La visi\u00f3n es clara: que este c\u00edrculo crezca, se fortalezca y que m\u00e1s ni\u00f1as encuentren una red que las acompa\u00f1e en la construcci\u00f3n de un futuro m\u00e1s justo y esperanzador.<\/span><\/p>

The Girls\u2019 Circle was born as a space created especially for them: safe, participatory, and full of possibilities. The experience took place in the community of Huayc\u00e1n, where 42 girls and adolescents from six schools came together to celebrate the International Day of the Girl, thanks to the initiative of the Warmi Wasi Development Center, led by Sister Deepa Biswas IBVM.<\/span><\/p>

From the very beginning, the methodology made a difference. It wasn\u2019t a traditional workshop, but rather a living process in which the girls designed each detail together, proposed topics, and decided how they wanted to experience the space. Through shared leadership, they took on roles as facilitators, rapporteurs, and support staff, claiming the space as their own and strengthening their voices in an environment of trust and respect.<\/span><\/p>

One of the most meaningful moments was the intergenerational gathering, which sought to build bridges between generations. The girls and adolescents engaged in dialogue with women leaders and partner institutions, including the Ombudsperson\u2019s Office of East Lima and the Women\u2019s Emergency Center of Huayc\u00e1n. In this warm and inspiring space, they listened to life stories, received guidance, and envisioned their own paths as agents of change.<\/span><\/p>

The impact was so powerful that the Municipal Social Development Department invited the team to replicate the experience in three additional schools. The vision is clear: for this circle to grow stronger and wider, so that more girls can find a network that supports them in building a more just and hopeful future.<\/span><\/p>
