Na quarta-feira, 28 de junho de 2017, representantes da ONG IBVM participaram do Evento de A\u00e7\u00e3o da Assembleia Geral nas Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas, onde um dia inteiro de pain\u00e9is teve como objetivo alcan\u00e7ar o 4\u00ba\u00ba<\/sup> Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel aconteceu.<\/p>

Os palestrantes do Evento estavam entusiasmados e determinados. Eles defenderam uma mudan\u00e7a vital na percep\u00e7\u00e3o da educa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

A educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 crucial para o desenvolvimento sustent\u00e1vel em todo o mundo. A educa\u00e7\u00e3o estabelece as bases para que as gera\u00e7\u00f5es futuras, que devem viver num mundo que enfrenta problemas de altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas e desigualdade, se tornem l\u00edderes de mudan\u00e7as positivas e sustent\u00e1veis. A educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 um direito humano, que abre portas \u00e0 inova\u00e7\u00e3o, ao emprego, \u00e0 igualdade de g\u00e9nero e a muitos outros objetivos que a ONU deseja alcan\u00e7ar at\u00e9 2030.<\/p>

Os di\u00e1logos que se seguiram destacaram os tr\u00eas principais desafios do padr\u00e3o internacional de educa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

  1. Acesso: 263 milh\u00f5es de jovens e 600 milh\u00f5es de adultos\/jovens (sendo 60% mulheres) n\u00e3o t\u00eam acesso \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o. A educa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o \u00e9 vista como o direito humano que \u00e9.<\/li>
  2. Qualidade: Quase 40% de alunos abandonam a escola prim\u00e1ria sem terem dominado quaisquer compet\u00eancias b\u00e1sicas de matem\u00e1tica ou linguagem. A educa\u00e7\u00e3o necessita de recursos extensivos, forma\u00e7\u00e3o e uma moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o do curr\u00edculo e do modelo de aprendizagem.<\/li>
  3. Governa\u00e7\u00e3o: \u00c9 necess\u00e1ria uma vis\u00e3o hol\u00edstica. Embora uma abordagem de cima para baixo ainda seja pertinente para garantir um financiamento adequado para a educa\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 necess\u00e1ria uma maior colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com aqueles que est\u00e3o ao n\u00edvel local: professores e pais envolvidos num di\u00e1logo profundo com os principais decisores.<\/li><\/ol>

    Ent\u00e3o\u2026qual \u00e9 a solu\u00e7\u00e3o para a quest\u00e3o do acesso e da qualidade?<\/h4>

    Inova\u00e7\u00e3o!<\/p>

    A inova\u00e7\u00e3o, embora comumente usada em refer\u00eancia \u00e0 tecnologia, pode assumir diversas formas. Um representante da WISE (C\u00fapula Mundial de Inova\u00e7\u00e3o para a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o) falou sobre inova\u00e7\u00e3o na forma de uma mudan\u00e7a curricular, uma mudan\u00e7a nos testes padronizados e desenvolvimento nas instala\u00e7\u00f5es f\u00edsicas das escolas.<\/p>

    Leslee Udwin, cineasta brit\u00e2nica e activista dos direitos humanos, falou apaixonadamente sobre a necessidade de inova\u00e7\u00e3o no curr\u00edculo escolar. Esse foi um ponto que realmente se destacou na sala. A escola deve ensinar uma aprendizagem social e emocional baseada em valores. A educa\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser uma ferramenta para mudar a mentalidade dos jovens, ensinando-os a existir no mundo de forma pac\u00edfica. \u00a0<\/p>

    A tecnologia pode ser usada como um canal para o resultado da aprendizagem, e este foi um assunto discutido no segundo di\u00e1logo do evento. As universidades online oferecem educa\u00e7\u00e3o de alta qualidade, acess\u00edvel e de f\u00e1cil acesso para todos os indiv\u00edduos, sem discrimina\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

    Deve-se notar que as ferramentas tecnol\u00f3gicas n\u00e3o devem substituir um sistema escolar tradicional. Um iPad n\u00e3o pode cumprir o papel multifacetado de um professor compassivo e emp\u00e1tico. Nesta revolu\u00e7\u00e3o medi\u00e1tica em que nos encontramos, a centralidade dos professores n\u00e3o deve ser prejudicada.<\/p>

    O terceiro painel foi voltado para o planejamento da educa\u00e7\u00e3o em situa\u00e7\u00f5es humanit\u00e1rias. Perante uma cat\u00e1strofe, a educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a menos resiliente ou menos priorizada.<\/p>

    A Assembleia Geral prop\u00f4s a Tr\u00eas eu<\/strong> para seguir em frente:<\/p>

    Investir<\/strong> financiamento de longo prazo centrado no planeamento e prepara\u00e7\u00e3o de escolas e crian\u00e7as.<\/p>

    Melhorar<\/strong> qualidade da educa\u00e7\u00e3o para cumprir as metas de resultados de aprendizagem dos ODS. Isto significa desenvolver a capacidade de ensino e empregar um mecanismo para medir o progresso.<\/p>

    Incluir<\/strong> toda crian\u00e7a. Toda crian\u00e7a tem direito a uma educa\u00e7\u00e3o eficaz.<\/p>

    Leonor Briones, Secret\u00e1ria do Departamento de Educa\u00e7\u00e3o da Rep\u00fablica das Filipinas, contou uma anedota poderosa sobre a sua experi\u00eancia quando crian\u00e7a, escrevendo em folhas de bananeira para a escola, na sequ\u00eancia de um desastre natural catastr\u00f3fico. Foi a for\u00e7a fortalecedora do aprendizado que a ajudou a superar as imensas dificuldades.<\/p>

    Uma conclus\u00e3o importante deste evento seria que a educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma chave que abre portas para todos os outros Objectivos de Desenvolvimento Sustent\u00e1vel.
