Celebrando o tema \u2018Somos os Campe\u00f5es\u2019; este dia reconhece os Direitos Humanos das Pessoas Idosas e daqueles que ajudam a defend\u00ea-los, conforme declarado na Declara\u00e7\u00e3o Universal dos Direitos Humanos. Numa popula\u00e7\u00e3o envelhecida, este dia reafirma o compromisso de promover o gozo pleno e igualit\u00e1rio de todos os direitos humanos e liberdades fundamentais pelas pessoas idosas. O tema de 2018 visa aumentar a consci\u00eancia mundial e as oportunidades para a popula\u00e7\u00e3o idosa. \u00c0 medida que o mundo envelhece, a necessidade de inclus\u00e3o, aten\u00e7\u00e3o e protec\u00e7\u00e3o dos direitos das pessoas idosas \u00e9 vital. \u00c9 necess\u00e1ria maior aten\u00e7\u00e3o aos desafios espec\u00edficos deste grupo demogr\u00e1fico para garantir que as Pessoas Idosas se tornem vis\u00edveis e que as suas consequ\u00eancias<a href=\"http:\/\/ibvmunngo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/fullsizeoutput_80.jpeg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1780\" src=\"http:\/\/ibvmunngo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/fullsizeoutput_80-300x231.jpeg\" alt=\"sa\u00edda em tamanho real_80\" width=\"300\" height=\"231\"><\/a>preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o abordadas. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A cria\u00e7\u00e3o de uma sociedade coesa e inclusiva \u00e9 fundamental para garantir que a popula\u00e7\u00e3o idosa esteja protegida da discrimina\u00e7\u00e3o e da exclus\u00e3o, onde possa participar em todos os pilares sociais.
