O tema do IDG deste ano foi \u201cGera\u00e7\u00e3o digital\u201d. Nossa gera\u00e7\u00e3o&quot;. Ap\u00f3s a pandemia, o mundo tornou-se virtual e a educa\u00e7\u00e3o e os rendimentos mudaram para uma plataforma digital. 2,2 mil milh\u00f5es de pessoas com menos de 25 anos n\u00e3o t\u00eam acesso \u00e0 Internet em casa, sendo as raparigas mais propensas a ficarem privadas do acesso, o que tornou crucial o debate sobre o acesso digital e o activismo digital.<\/p><p>Prateeksha Shukla, aluna da St. Agnes&#039; Loreto Day School, na \u00cdndia, foi uma das moderadoras do Girls Speak Out deste ano, organizado pelo Grupo de Trabalho sobre Meninas e co-patrocinado pela Miss\u00e3o Permanente do Canad\u00e1 nas Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas, a Miss\u00e3o Permanente do Peru junto \u00e0s Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas, a Miss\u00e3o Permanente da Turquia junto \u00e0s Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas, UNICEF, UNFPA e ONU Mulheres.<\/p><p>Os principais oradores desta reuni\u00e3o foram meninas activistas e defensoras de todo o mundo, que faziam campanha pela igualdade de acesso digital. Richard Arbeiter (Embaixador e Representante Permanente Adjunto do Canad\u00e1 junto \u00e0 ONU), o Conselheiro Rivera (Miss\u00e3o Permanente do Peru junto \u00e0 ONU) e a Sra. Bilge Kocyigit, representante da Miss\u00e3o Permanente da Rep\u00fablica da Turquia junto \u00e0 ONU foram os altos- oradores de n\u00edvel discursando na reuni\u00e3o. Al\u00e9m dos Representantes Permanentes, o WGG tamb\u00e9m recebeu a Dra.
