Mulheres, crian\u00e7as e migrantes s\u00e3o especialmente vulner\u00e1veis ao recrutamento e \u00e0 explora\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p><p>A 60\u00aa Sess\u00e3o do Tema Priorit\u00e1rio da Comiss\u00e3o para o Desenvolvimento Social procura abordar a situa\u00e7\u00e3o atrav\u00e9s de uma recupera\u00e7\u00e3o mais inclusiva e resiliente da COVID-19 e da erradica\u00e7\u00e3o da pobreza e da fome.<\/p><p>Organizamos um evento paralelo sobre &#8220;Pobreza, Fome e Tr\u00e1fico de Pessoas Pessoais; Interven\u00e7\u00f5es e boas pr\u00e1ticas de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es religiosas.&#8221; Nossos palestrantes compartilharam seus conhecimentos e o trabalho de sua organiza\u00e7\u00e3o para acabar com o trabalho for\u00e7ado, a escravid\u00e3o moderna e o tr\u00e1fico de pessoas. Juntaram-se a n\u00f3s mais de 79 membros da nossa rede e colegas de ONGs.<\/p><p>O Prof. Michel Veuthey, Embaixador da Ordem Soberana de Malta para Monitorizar e Combater o Tr\u00e1fico de Pessoas, Genebra, falou sobre o papel do Estado e o importante trabalho e colabora\u00e7\u00e3o do Estado com a sociedade civil, em particular com as organiza\u00e7\u00f5es religiosas.<\/p><p>Irm\u00e3 Imelda Poole IBVM, Presidente da RENATE partilhou o trabalho desta rede europeia de religiosos que est\u00e3o empenhados em trabalhar juntos contra o tr\u00e1fico e a explora\u00e7\u00e3o de seres humanos. Ela falou sobre o seu trabalho na educa\u00e7\u00e3o e defesa de direitos, n\u00e3o apenas entre os seus membros, mas dentro das suas comunidades.<\/p><p>Nabanita Shome, Coordenadora do Projeto Red-light Sonagachi-Kolkata, \u00cdndia, falou sobre o trabalho do Centro Social Mary Ward de Calcut\u00e1 na educa\u00e7\u00e3o dos jovens e de sua comunidade local na preven\u00e7\u00e3o do tr\u00e1fico de pessoas, especialmente entre os jovens.
