Minha jornada CSW66 come\u00e7ou no dia 12 de fevereiro com uma garota ’ grupo de reda\u00e7\u00e3o de declara\u00e7\u00f5es organizado pelo Grupo de Trabalho sobre Meninas (WGG). Eu n\u00e3o tinha certeza de quanto poderia contribuir. No entanto, este evento acabou por ser uma grande oportunidade para conhecer raparigas de todo o mundo, ouvir as suas perspectivas \u00fanicas e redigir a declara\u00e7\u00e3o a ser apresentada perante a CSW da ONU.<\/p>

Depois da conven\u00e7\u00e3o pol\u00edtica de meninas, quando me disseram que eu poderia continuar participando do f\u00f3rum da ONG CSW, senti-me honrada. Eu sabia que seria capaz de ouvir e me conectar com muitas mulheres fortes, poderosas e inteligentes de todo o mundo. Antes do in\u00edcio da CSW, tivemos a oportunidade de participar em mais duas reuni\u00f5es de grupos de raparigas, o que me ajudou a ganhar exposi\u00e7\u00e3o para me tornar uma melhor defensora.\u00a0<\/p>

O primeiro evento da ONG CSW do qual participei foi uma cerim\u00f4nia de orienta\u00e7\u00e3o patrocinada pela ONG CSW. Aqui obtive mais conhecimentos t\u00e9cnicos sobre os temas CSW66, f\u00f3rum ONG CSW e CSW. A vontade de participar em todos os eventos era forte, mas devido aos fusos hor\u00e1rios e \u00e0s sobreposi\u00e7\u00f5es, isso n\u00e3o foi poss\u00edvel. Contudo, procurei participar do maior n\u00famero poss\u00edvel de rodas de conversa e briefings da sociedade civil.<\/p>

Al\u00e9m dos eventos paralelos, tamb\u00e9m obtivemos um link para o calend\u00e1rio de todos os eventos paralelos organizados por v\u00e1rios estados membros e associados da ONU. A ONG CSW determinou a forma como pensei sobre muitas coisas. Fez-me perceber a liga\u00e7\u00e3o ineg\u00e1vel entre as altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas, o risco de cat\u00e1strofes e as desigualdades de g\u00e9nero. Deparei-me com informa\u00e7\u00f5es chocantes, como o facto de as cat\u00e1strofes naturais matarem mais mulheres do que homens e de as mulheres serem desproporcionalmente afectadas pelas altera\u00e7\u00f5es clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>

\u00c9 claro que informa\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o foi tudo o que ganhei. Tamb\u00e9m fiz conex\u00f5es com outros defensores do JCOR e recebi uma orienta\u00e7\u00e3o para assumir minha defesa. Embora essas duas semanas tenham sido muito ocupadas, elas passaram como um borr\u00e3o e me deixaram como uma garota ambientalista e ativista mais confiante, bem informada e capacitada.<\/p>
