Loreto St Michael's' Navan celebrou sua 44\u00aa Semana consecutiva de Justi\u00e7a Social (28 de fevereiro a 4 de mar\u00e7o). Com a flexibiliza\u00e7\u00e3o das restri\u00e7\u00f5es da Covid-19, o evento anual conseguiu retornar um pouco da sua gl\u00f3ria anterior. A semana come\u00e7ou na segunda-feira, 28 de fevereiro, com toda a escola passando o primeiro per\u00edodo analisando o pano de fundo da semana e o tema Bondade.<\/p>

Demos as boas-vindas ao vereador local Yemi Adenuga, que falou aos nossos alunos do 6\u00ba ano sobre as mulheres na pol\u00edtica. Representantes da Dogs Trust tamb\u00e9m nos visitaram na segunda-feira e conversaram com nossos alunos do 1\u00ba ano sobre guarda respons\u00e1vel de animais de estima\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>

Dia 1: Nossos alunos TY Peer ensinaram aos alunos do 1\u00ba ano a composi\u00e7\u00e3o do mundo usando o recurso do Mundo de 100 Pessoas.<\/p>

Dia 2: Recebemos o Padre Peter McVerry que falou aos nossos alunos do 5\u00ba ano sobre o seu trabalho com os sem-abrigo e com aqueles que n\u00e3o t\u00eam voz na sociedade.<\/p>

Dia 3: Demos as boas-vindas ao Meath Food Bank na escola e eles falaram a v\u00e1rios grupos de anos sobre o seu trabalho na comunidade local.<\/p>

Ao longo da semana os nossos pares do 5\u00ba ano lecionaram todos os 1\u00ba, 2\u00ba e 3\u00ba anos em dois workshops sobre multiculturalismo e fast fashion.<\/p>

No workshop baseado no multiculturalismo, os alunos examinaram a composi\u00e7\u00e3o do seu grupo et\u00e1rio e analisaram as origens, l\u00ednguas, costumes, tradi\u00e7\u00f5es e religi\u00f5es praticadas no seu grupo et\u00e1rio.<\/p>

O segundo workshop foi sobre Fast Fashion. Durante este workshop, os alunos examinaram as causas do Fast Fashion e desenharam as suas pr\u00f3prias t-shirts que delinearam as principais aprendizagens do workshop.<\/p>
