O evento foi intitulado: Educa\u00e7\u00e3o de Qualidade e Igualdade de G\u00eanero: Chaves para Construir Avan\u00e7ando para alcan\u00e7ar os ODS para destacar a import\u00e2ncia do ODS4 e do ODS5.<\/p><p>Ficamos honrados em ter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibvmunngo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Ambassador-Geraldine-Byrne-Nason-bio-2022-DC.docx.pdf\">Embaixadora Geraldine Byrne Nason<\/a>, o Embaixador da Miss\u00e3o Permanente da Irlanda na ONU como nosso orador principal. Ela foi acompanhada por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibvmunngo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Sr-Orla-Treacy-IBVM.pdf\">Irm\u00e3 Orla Treacy IBVM<\/a> (Diretor de Loreto Rumbek), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibvmunngo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Fr.-Beltran-Bio.docx.pdf\">Pe. Benigno P. Beltr\u00e1n SVD<\/a> (CEO Sandiwaan Center for Learning &#8211; SCL), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibvmunngo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/Helena-Rial-Isaac.pdf\">Helena Rial Isaac<\/a> (Graduado por Loreto Rumbek) e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ibvmunngo.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/MARIA-ANGELICA-profile.docx.pdf\">Maria Ang\u00e9lica Salom\u00e3o<\/a> (Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o SCL). O evento foi habilmente moderado por nossa estagi\u00e1ria juvenil, Riya Bhargava.<\/p><p>O Embaixador Byrne Nason come\u00e7ou por felicitar a Irm\u00e3 Orla e a sua equipa pelo trabalho que estavam a realizar para educar as raparigas no Sud\u00e3o do Sul. Ela ent\u00e3o nos lembrou que, sete anos desde que os pa\u00edses se comprometeram com o ODS 2030, n\u00e3o estamos &#8220;a meio caminho para alcan\u00e7ar os ODS que esper\u00e1vamos&#8221; e que mesmo antes da pandemia j\u00e1 est\u00e1vamos ficando para tr\u00e1s. Infelizmente, a n\u00edvel mundial, &#8220;as mulheres, os jovens e as crian\u00e7as continuam a ser os mais vulner\u00e1veis.&#8221; No meio da pandemia, os casamentos precoces e a viol\u00eancia baseada no g\u00e9nero aumentaram e muitas mulheres, especialmente as m\u00e3es, abandonaram o mercado de trabalho.<\/p><p>Mas ela tamb\u00e9m falou sobre esperan\u00e7a e reconheceu o trabalho que est\u00e1 sendo feito n\u00e3o apenas pelos governos, mas por muitos governos &#8220;invis\u00edveis e muitas vezes n\u00e3o ouvidos&#8221; pessoas comprometidas, muitas das quais estiveram presentes no webinar, que est\u00e3o trabalhando para alcan\u00e7ar os ODS. O ODS2030 \u00e9 o nosso plano para transformar o nosso mundo para que ningu\u00e9m fique para tr\u00e1s. O Embaixador Byrne Nason encorajou-nos a manter a nossa determina\u00e7\u00e3o e motiva\u00e7\u00e3o. 2030 est\u00e1 \u00e0 vista e os nossos objetivos partilhados continuam a ser alcan\u00e7\u00e1veis.&#8221;<\/p><p>Irm\u00e3 Orla compartilhou como a educa\u00e7\u00e3o de meninas era um conceito novo para o Sud\u00e3o do Sul quando as Irm\u00e3s chegaram e quais medidas pr\u00e1ticas elas tomaram para promover a igualdade de g\u00eanero (ODS5) na educa\u00e7\u00e3o de qualidade (ODS4). Ela demonstrou como os ODS est\u00e3o integrados nas suas pr\u00e1ticas para apoiar a educa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma menina. A equipe de Loreto Rumbek \u00e9 definitivamente parte do grupo &#8220;invis\u00edvel e in\u00e9dito&#8221; pessoas comprometidas mencionadas pelo Embaixador.<\/p><p>Pe. Benigno compartilhou a nova filosofia educacional que sustenta o Sandiwaan Center for Learning para alcan\u00e7ar os alunos mais vulner\u00e1veis. Sua filosofia de &#8220;Aprender a Pensar, Pensar para Aprender&#8221; oferece um m\u00e9todo alternativo de educa\u00e7\u00e3o online. Este m\u00e9todo combina mindfulness com os princ\u00edpios do pensamento cr\u00edtico, sist\u00eamico e design thinking que ensinam os alunos como se tornarem seres humanos melhores e prepar\u00e1-los para este mundo complexo.<\/p><p>Tamb\u00e9m ouvimos as formadas Hellena e Maria Ang\u00e9lica que compartilharam suas hist\u00f3rias e o impacto da educa\u00e7\u00e3o que receberam de ambas as institui\u00e7\u00f5es. Estas duas jovens l\u00edderes demonstraram como a educa\u00e7\u00e3o das raparigas beneficia toda a comunidade e \u00e9 fundamental para alcan\u00e7ar os ODS.<\/p><p>Os oradores apelaram-nos a pensar na intersec\u00e7\u00e3o de todos os ODS, especialmente na igualdade de g\u00e9nero e no acesso \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o.
