2022 marcou o 10\u00ba anivers\u00e1rio do Dia Internacional da Menina. 11 de outubro \u00e9 um dia dedicado a celebrar as meninas de todo o mundo. Esta campanha tem o compromisso de elevar a voz das meninas e refletir sobre os desafios di\u00e1rios que enfrentam.<\/p>

O Grupo de Trabalho sobre Meninas (um corpo colaborativo de ONGs do qual a ONG IBVM-CJ \u00e9 membro) organizou o evento Girl SpeakOut em parceria com as Miss\u00f5es das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas do Canad\u00e1, Turquia e Peru, e a ONU Mulheres. O tema, \u201cIDG +10: Cuidado com a lacuna, direitos das meninas agora!\u201d celebrou o activismo das raparigas e as suas conquistas, ao mesmo tempo que nos lembrou que ainda existem lacunas.<\/p>

Muitas mulheres e raparigas da nossa rede e escolas desempenharam um papel fundamental para tornar a contagem decrescente de 11 dias para o Dia Internacional da Rapariga (tamb\u00e9m conhecido como campanha dos 11 dias de Ac\u00e7\u00e3o) e para o pr\u00f3prio dia ser um sucesso. Em todo o mundo, as meninas est\u00e3o causando impacto e estamos muito satisfeitos por ter participado do evento h\u00edbrido Girls Speak out na sede da ONU.<\/p>

Alunos das escolas IBVM e CJ enviaram suas obras de arte, poesias, v\u00eddeos, m\u00fasicas e muito mais para serem apresentados na campanha. No rescaldo da Pandemia da Covid-19 este ano, tivemos a oportunidade de refletir sobre o nosso envolvimento na campanha, e ver as nossas meninas em a\u00e7\u00e3o foi um lembrete de que as vozes das mulheres e das meninas s\u00e3o importantes. Em todo o mundo, as raparigas est\u00e3o a causar impacto e a criar mudan\u00e7as positivas muito al\u00e9m das suas comunidades. As meninas est\u00e3o abrindo caminho para um futuro melhor e provando que nunca se \u00e9 jovem demais para fazer a diferen\u00e7a.<\/p>
