(CSW66) gave me an opportunity to learn and become aware of the works accomplished by climate and youth activists in different areas... It greatly inspired me to be vocal about my thoughts and opinions.

The sixty-sixth session of the Commission on the Status of Women took place on 14th to 25th March 2022. The Commission adopted the agreed conclusions on “Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes”.
I attended the orientation and advocacy training sessions; Conversation Circles such as Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights, Women, Youth, Peace & Security, Building Greener Across Generations and Asia/Pacific Regional Caucus; other parallel events; and civil society briefings. These events enhanced my knowledge, was productive and kept me engaged at all times.
CSW66 gave me an opportunity to learn and become aware of the works accomplished by climate and youth activists in different areas related to gender equality, women empowerment, representation of women, environment and climate change, and elimination of violence against youth and women. It greatly inspired me to be vocal about my thoughts and opinions.
The CSW66 has been an incredible and enriching experience for me. This was my first ever participation at a global event and I am very grateful to be given such a remarkable opportunity and I look forward to attending more such events.
