Sr Sarah Rudolph CJ – Representante de ONG
Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Sr. Sarah Rudolph, joined the Congregation of Jesus (formerly Loretto Sisters) in Toronto, Ontario in 2014. She currently resides in New York City where she serves as the Main Representative for the IBVM-Loreto NGO.
Sr. Sarah is passionate about social justice and Ignatian spirituality, seeking to find God in all aspects of life, even in public policy. Prior to her role at the UN, Sr. Sarah served as the Director of the Mary Ward Centre in Toronto and then as its Social Justice Animator, focusing on bringing the voices of young people into decision-making spaces. She also led retreats and offered spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition.
Prior to joining the Loretto Sisters, she worked in the Canadian federal government on social policy, particularly related to child and maternal health and children’s rights. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Arts in International Affairs.
In all that she does, she desires to respond to God’s invitation to co-create a world where all people and the planet may flourish.
Un internacional Comite de prevencion y una red de CJ Province UN Representatives support the NGO Representatives in their work. The Red contra la trata de personas was formed to connect the CJ members working to eradicate human trafficking and slavery in their own countries.
The Advisory Committee provides advice, guidance and oversight of the NGO’s strategy and work plan. The CJ Province UN Representatives provide the critical link for communication between the NGO Representatives in New York and the entire CJ network. Together with the Anti-Human Trafficking Network and other community programmes, they also provide critical information from the ground that informs our advocacy at the UN.
